Seattle-based Arboretum Foundation hired Richard Bray as director of development. Bray was director of donor and community relations for the Society of St. Vincent de Paul of Seattle/King county. The foundation is a nonprofit that raises funds and advocates for the arboretum.
Seattle-based law firm Cairncross & Hempelmann hired Benjamin Seeger and Jennifer Faubion as associates. Seeger worked as assistant counsel at Washington Federal. Seeger was a litigation associate for Ashbaugh Beal.
ACT Executive Director Carlo Scandiuzzi and artistic director Kurt Beattie hired John Langs as associate artistic director. Langs recently directed ACT's “The Dumb Waiter” and will direct the annual production of Charles Dickens' “A Christmas Carol.” His position beings January 2013.

Spokane-based Magner Sanborn hired Charlotte Boutz as senior account planner, Scott Ellis as digital marketing specialist and Jimmy Gleason as web developer. Magner Sanborn is an advertising, brand design and marketing communications firm.
San Francisco-based Wells Fargo hired Terese Rowe as senior vice president and head of its agribusiness group in Oregon. Rowe led corporate credit at Rabobank Chile. Wells Fargo is a diversified financial services and banking company.
Redmond-based Friends of Youth opened a shelter for young adults in Snoqualmie at 7971 Maple Ave. S.E. as a trial program for three months. Friends of Youth's programs encourage individual growth and constructive relationships.

San Francisco-based Wells Fargo Bank hired James Doolittle as senior investment strategist in the Seattle office. Doolittle has 33 years of financial services experience and worked as vice president and senior portfolio manager for U.S. Bank.


Attorneys Stephanie Berntsen and Brian Keeley in the Seattle office of regional law firm Schwabe, Williamson & Wyatt were named co-chairs of the Washington Defense Trial Lawyers' Employment Section. The Washington Defense Trial Lawyers promotes professional and ethical standards for civil defense attorneys.
Kirkland-based Taiyo Pacific Partners hired Daniel Ludwig and Jeffrey Cagnina as managing directors for marketing and client servicing. Ludwig held leadership positions for Geode Capital Management and Mountain Pacific Group in Boston. Cagnina was president of Hunt Financial Ventures in Dallas. Taiyo Pacific Partners is a hedge fund specializing in Asian countries.
