The city of SeaTac announced Joe Scorcio as director of community and economic development. Scorcio has 29 years of experience in public service positions for Pierce county including leadership of the Chambers Creek Property Master Site Plan and served on a variety of boards and commissions including the Puget Sound Air Quality Authority and the Tacoma Pierce County Chamber of Commerce.

Jennifer Divine, partner in Seattle law firm Miller Nash has been named Business Leader of the Year for 2012 by the Greater Seattle Business Association. Divine specializes in employment and education law.
Edmonds-based Terwedo Financial Services hired Aaron Terwedo as planning assistant. Terwedo is a veteran of the US Army, having served in Iraq on three separate deployments. The skills he learned while in the service have translated well into his work at the company.

Washington Policy Center, an independent public policy think tank, hired Dan Sytman as director of communications and marketing. Sytman was deputy communications director for the state Attorney General's Office and replaces former communications director John Barnes, who has taken a position with Montana's newly elected attorney general.
Massachusettes-based Zettics named John Gillespie senior vice president of worldwide sales and business development, Mike Crane as vice president of business development and John Tremblay as vice president of product management. Zettics is a big data mobile analytics company with an office in Seattle.
Seattle-based Richmond Public Relations named Jason Hamilton as partner. Hamilton returns to the firm after working as chief marketing officer of a financial services firm in Kirkland. Lorne S. Richmond will become chief executive officer and founder Louis B. Richmond will become senior advisor and chairman of the board. Richmond Public Relations is a full-service public relations firm.

Bellevue-based CPA and consulting firm Clark Nuber hired Steve Brilling as director of family buisness. Brilling worked as executive director of Seattle University's Entrepreneurship Center. He remains affiliated with Seattle University, leading its Family Business Program.
Northwest Kidney Centers has named managers for the new Enumclaw dialysis center. Dr. Vilma Quijada as medical director, Sheila Bennett, RN, as clinical director and Debra Marcella, RN, as nurse manager. The 30-patient clinic at 857 Roosevelt Ave E. in Enumclaw is scheduled to open March 4.
City manager T.C. Broadnax appointed Andrew Cherullo as finance manager for Tacoma effective Feb. 28. Cherullo worked as chief financial officer for the Washington State Health Care Authority in Olympia.
