Lynnwood-based Bank of Washington named Martin A. Steele president and chief executive officer. Steele was president and CEO of Charter Bank. He has more than 30 years of banking experience and held management positions with The Commerce Bank of Washington, Windswept Capital and Bank of America.

First Financial Northwest

Renton-based First Financial Northwest named Richard P. Jacobson chief financial officer. Jacobson was named chief administrative officer and chief operating officer in July 2013.

Kona Medical

Bellevue-based Kona Medical hired Jim Gilmore as senior vice president of research and development. Gilmore was a founding member and senior vice president of research and development for Fujifilm SonoSite and has 25 years of experience at GE Medical Systems, ATL Ultrasound and Diasonics.

Plum Creek Timber

Seattle-based Plum Creek Timber Co. named Timothy E. Punke to senior vice president of corporate affairs and public policy effective Oct. 1. Punke joins Plum Creek from Monument Policy Group and was a partner at K&L Gates. Plum Creek is one of the largest private U.S. landowners with 6.3 million acres of timberland.

Broadway Cigar

Portland-based Broadway Cigar Co. has opened a third cigar shop at 1905 S.E. 192nd Ave. in Camas, and will celebrate with a grand opening Sept. 7. Portland native Jason Lee owns Broadway Cigar.

Pagemark Technology

Redmond-based Pagemark Technology, a brand protection and security provider, hired Zach Hector as vice president of sales. He is a veteran in the health care and life science industries and was worldwide life sciences industry solutions manager at Microsoft.
