Bellevue-based MD² opened a primary care office in Menlo Park, Calif., offering “concierge health care” to highly mobile, affluent families. The MD² CEO is Peter Hoedemaker. The company has offices in Seattle, Bellevue, Portland, San Francisco, Dallas, Chicago, New York and Menlo Park. Each practice has two physicians who care for 50 families.
The United Nations Association Greater Seattle Chapter named Jennafer Price Cargill executive director. She has extensive experience with membership-based programs and nonprofit. Octavia Hathaway, a Tacoma attorney and business owner, will be chief administrative officer.
Irvine, Calif.-based Opus Bank said Thea K. Stuedli, Opus' executive vice president chief financial officer, will resign from the bank, effective Aug. 30. Nicole M. Carrillo, senior vice president and chief accounting officer, has been named CFO.

Attorney General Bob Ferguson named David Horn, assistant regional director for the Federal Trade Commission and former assistant attorney general, his chief deputy, starting in October. Horn worked in the Attorney General's Office for more than 18 years and frequently worked with the AGO at the FTC. He recently helped the AGO coordinate enforcement against timeshare resale scams.
Voip-Pal.com of Bellevue said board member Dr. Thomas E. Sawyer has been named chairman of the board and CEO of Voip-Pal. Dennis Chang will remain as a director. Sawyer has more than 40 years of technical and managerial experience including NACT Telecommunications, Global Light Telecommunications and Sacred Circle Health Care. He also was an advisor to presidents Nixon, Ford, Reagan and George H. W. Bush.
Southern Wine & Spirits of the Pacific Northwest said Phoenix Wine & Spirits of Salt Lake City is joining Southern Wine & Spirits of Utah to create the largest wine broker in the state. The deal will close this month and joint operations should start in September. Southern has operations in 35 markets including Washington state.

The Fearey Group, a Seattle public relations and public affairs agency, hired Heather Fernandez as senior account executive and Anthony Cogswell as account coordinator. Fernandez was an account executive at Waggener Edstrom Worldwide, working with Microsoft. Cogswell was an intern at Fearey and graduated from Central Washington University in 2012.
A Seattle-based group called Peace for the Streets by Kids from the Streets, or PSKS, has hired Susan Fox as executive director. Fox has more than 20 years of nonprofit, for-profit and government experience, and was executive director of Jubilee Women's Center on Capitol Hill. PSKS helps homeless and at-risk youth and young adults with advocacy, education, employment and basic needs.
