Schwabe, Williamson & Wyatt

Northwest regional law firm Schwabe, Williamson & Wyatt added land use attorneys Keith Dearborn and Alison Moss to the Seattle office. They were at Dearborn & Moss PLLC. Moss focuses on land use and alternative dispute resolution, and acts as a mediator with the Kitsap County Dispute Resolution Center. Dearborn has more than 40 years of experience in land use law. He helped establish King County's farmland preservation program and is involved in the transfer of development credits from King County to Seattle.

Wells Fargo

Jon Collavo has been named Washington Business Banking sales manager at Wells Fargo. He has had a 20-year career in financial services including 12 years with Wells Fargo as business development officer for Wells Fargo SBA lending. He will be based in Seattle and oversee six business sales officers across Western Washington.

Bashford

Jonathon Bashford joined Lane Powell as an attorney in the Litigation Practice Group where he will represent long term care providers, including skilled nursing facilities, assisted- and independent-living facilities. He was assistant attorney general for the Social and Health Services Division of the Washington Attorney General's Office and has experience in Medicaid programs, regulatory enforcement, licensing, compliance and litigation.

Williams Kastner

Williams Kastner elected Jessie Harris as managing director. His practice focuses on civil litigation in employment law, bodily injury, product liability and commercial cases. He replaces Sheryl Willert, who was elected managing director in 1996. She was one of three women to become a managing director among the 25 largest law firms in the Pacific Northwest, and the only African-American woman to be managing partner in firms of comparable size in the country.

Atlas International

Atlas International, an affiliate of Atlas Van Lines and a subsidiary of parent company Atlas World Group, said Jim Gaw has been promoted to president and chief operating officer from vice president and general manager. Atlas International focuses on international transportation and relocation for corporate clients, families and government agencies. Gaw has held management positions with international van lines for 15 years.

Willows Lodge has been recognized as a top hotel in the world by Travel + Leisure readers. The Top 500 list ranks Willows Lodge as the No. 1 hotel in Seattle and No. 1 hotel in Washington, with an overall score of 89.57.

Hotel 1000 in downtown Seattle was recognized as a top hotel in the world by Condé Nast Traveler readers on the annual Gold List. Hotel 1000 was ranked No. 1 in Seattle and No. 1 in Washington state, with an overall score of 91.2.

Pacific Financial Corp.

Pacific Financial Corp., the Aberdeen-based holding company for Bank of the Pacific, said Denise Portmann has been named president and chief executive officer of Bank of the Pacific starting Jan. 1. She will succeed Dennis Long, who will remain president and CEO of Pacific Financial Corp. Portmann will continue to be CFO until a replacement is found.
