His practice focuses on software, Internet, e-commerce, consulting, hardware and tech companies. He was with Eisenhower Carlson PLLC, and also practiced in the Seattle and Bellevue offices of Davis Wright Tremaine.

OTB is a technology and management consulting firm based in Seattle with clients in health care, government, life sciences, tech and manufacturing.

The Resort at The Mountain

The Resort at The Mountain in Welches, Ore., hired OJ Robinson as executive chef, responsible for kitchen operations, staff management and menus at the golf, ski and meeting resort. He was executive chef at Seventh Mountain Resort in Bend, Ore.

Pinchot

Pinchot, an educational institution on Bainbridge with a focus on sustainable business, announced a new mission and new leadership. Pinchot has been launched by Bainbridge Graduate Institute, Organizational Systems Renewal and the Center for Inclusive Entrepreneurship. BGI Co-founder Jill Bamburg has been named president. Founding President Gifford Pinchot III will have an emeritus role as intrapreneur in residence. Current MBA program associate dean Mary Kay Chess, Ph.D., will be dean of academic affairs at Pinchot and oversee programs at BGI, OSR and Pinchot Edge, a new school for professional and personal development. Current Dean and Provost John Gardner, Ph.D. is leaving to become CEO of the WSU Foundation. Students study from home, work in groups, at night or at monthly weekend sessions.

Renton Technical College

Steve Hanson, president at Renton Technical College, will retire in December. He was been with RTC since September 2009.

Washington State University

Washington State University President Elson S. Floyd named John Gardner vice president for development and CEO of WSU Foundation, effective July 1. Gardner returns to WSU after three years as dean and provost of Bainbridge Graduate Institute, now part of Pinchot University. He was WSU's vice president for economic development and extension, and later vice president of advancement and external affairs, and oversaw launch of the $1 billion Campaign for Washington State University.

Spring Ridge Assisted Living and Memory Care Center in Tacoma said Kathy Wells has joined the executive team, with 20 years of experience in retirement, assisted living and memory communities.

Eileen I. McKillop joined Lane Powell as a shareholder in the Construction Practice Group, and will focus on complex multi-party litigation including construction, toxic tort and general litigation. McKillop was a partner at Oles Morrison Rinker & Baker.

Un-Cruise Adventures

Graves

The adventure cruise line Un-Cruise Adventures hired Captain Mark Graves as port captain, based at the Seattle firm's Fishermen's Terminal headquarters. Ship masters on eight vessels will report to Graves, who will be in charge of management, voyage planning and navigation standards. Graves was with Lindblad Expeditions.

Artist Trust

Artist Trust has appointed Barbara Green interim operations director. She has more than 25 years of experience in interim leadership roles for University Heights, Richard Hugo House and other local nonprofits. She replaces Margit Rankin, who was executive director. A new executive director is expected to be hired by August.
