Joel Freet, previously head of corporate business for Cutter & Buck, has been named CEO of the Seattle-based sportswear company, replacing Jens Petersson, who will take an executive position with the parent company, New Wave Group AB. Cutter & Buck designs, manufactures and distributes products for golf, corporate, collegiate, professional sports and specialty retail markets.

Saltchuk Resources named Colleen Rosas vice president of human resources. She was vice president, human resources for the Foss family of companies, a subsidiary of Saltchuk. Since coming to Foss in 2013, Rosas has aligned HR systems across the organization. Saltchuk has five business lines: shipping and logistics, marine services, trucking, air cargo, and petroleum distribution. Rosas also worked at Swedish Health Services.
United Way of Pierce County directors recently elected Linda Nguyen, CEO of WorkForce Central, as chair-elect to work alongside current Chair James McCormick of Messina Bulzomi Christensen Attorneys.

Code Fellows, a Seattle-based digital trade school, named Kristin Smith chief executive officer. Company co-founder Will Little has been appointed chief technology officer. Smith was vice president of supply chain at Zulily and worked at Amazon.com for eight years. Code Fellows was launched in 2013 and has graduated 165 software engineers from eight-week intensive courses, with an average starting salary of $75,600 per year.
Expeditors International of Washington said Peter J. Rose, past CEO and chairman of the board, has resigned as both chairman and a member of the board. Robert R. Wright is the new chairman. He has been the company's lead independent director since May 2010. Wright is president and CEO of Matthew G. Norton Co., a real estate investment, development and management firm in Seattle. The board adopted a policy in 2012 requiring the CEO and chairman roles be split. Expeditors also said Rommel C. Saber, president of the Europe, Africa, Near/Middle East, and Indian Subcontinent region, will retire in 2015.

The executive search firm DHR International hired Smooch Repovich Reynolds as executive vice president. She will be managing director of the new Global Investor Relations & Communications Practice Group and open the company's 56th global office location in Seattle. Reynolds was a partner in the Encino office of Caldwell Partners, and led the Investor Relations and Communications Practice. She was also founder and CEO of The Repovich-Reynolds Group, a search and management consulting firm.

Clipper Vacations added David Gudgel in a new position: vice president of business development. Gudgel will be responsible for strategic growth, product distribution and service enhancements. He has over 20 years of experience in cruise, transportation and international package travel, with Holland America Line and Europe Express. Seattle-based Clipper Vacations specializes in Pacific Northwest tour options.

PricewaterhouseCoopers executive Cathy Gustafson Hylton received the Pi Beta Phi Fraternity for Women's Carolyn Helman Lichtenberg Crest Award for her professional achievements. She is partner and Pacific Northwest Tax Market Leader, and has led PwC's international tax practice for 33 years.

Doug Weber has been named Seattle Main Business Banking manager for Wells Fargo. He directs four Business Banking relationship managers, and oversees Seattle-area Business Banking operations. Weber was principal relationship manager for Wells Fargo in Bellevue.
