Dr. Shouan Pan is the new chancellor for Seattle Colleges, replacing Chancellor Jill Wakefield, who is retiring June 30 after 40 years with Seattle Colleges. Wakefield was appointed in 2009, and will be the longest-serving chancellor in the district's history when she retires. Pan is president of Mesa Community College in Mesa, Arizona. He was born and raised in Mainland China, and has over 25 years of teaching and administrative experience in higher education. Seattle College District has nearly 50,000 students.
Sound Mental Health named Patrick C. Evans the new chief executive officer, replacing Dr. David Stone, who is retiring after 26 years as CEO. Evans has been president and CEO of Behavioral Healthcare Partners of Central Ohio for 14 years.
The PRCN Foundation, the funds development organization for Presbyterian Retirement Communities Northwest, named George Twiss executive director. Twiss has worked in both the corporate (Xerox, Prodigy, Seattle Film Works) and nonprofit (Northwest Center, University of Phoenix, Senior Services) sectors.

Kara A. Tredway has joined Lane Powell as an attorney in the Litigation Practice Group. She represents health care, long term care and senior housing providers, and clients in defense of complex, catastrophic injury and workplace matters.
The Seattle-based international senior living research and advisory firm GSI hired senior housing executive David Knight as managing director. Knight was with Covenant Retirement Communities, and has experience in strategic planning, project development, merger and acquisition, and troubled-project advisory services.

Adaptive Biotechnologies named Charles Sang senior vice president, diagnostics. Sang will lead the diagnostics business strategy for the clonoSEQ Process. Tom Willis, PhD, will transition to an advisory role. Sang's experience is in hematology/oncology and rare diseases, and he was most recently vice president of global diagnostics for Nanostring Technologies.
Nossaman has added environmental attorney Svend Brandt-Erichsen as a partner in Seattle. He was with Marten Law as office managing partner in Seattle. Brandt-Erichsen has 25 years of experience, and focuses on energy and natural resource projects. He began his career on the legislative staff of former Alaska Senator Ted Stevens and was regional administrator of Alaska's Department of Environmental Conservation. Nossaman has offices in Los Angeles, San Francisco, Orange County, Sacramento, Seattle, Washington, D.C., and Austin.
