KING 5 has hired David Espinosa-Hall to be the evening and night-side anchor starting in October. He was with WKMG in Orlando as morning anchor, and also worked at KMBC in Kansas, WWOR in New Jersey, KDKA in Pittsburgh and WTOC in Savannah, Georgia.

Green River College

Williamson

Rebecca (Rhodes) Williamson, Spokane Community College's vice president of instruction since 2012, will become Green River College's interim vice president of instruction, filling the position vacated after Derek Brandes was named president of Walla Walla Community College. Williamson was vice president of the Institute of Extended Learning, and dean of trades and technology at Green River College.

Sauer

Washington State Hospital Association said Cassie Sauer, the current executive vice president, will become CEO in January. Sauer replaces CEO Scott Bond, who retires at the end of the year after more than three decades in health care. Sauer will be the organization's fourth CEO. She has worked for the association for 16 years.

Symetra

Moskovit

Symetra Financial Corp. of Bellevue appointed Evan S. Moskovit, CFA, senior vice president and head of corporate fixed Income. Moskovit will oversee Symetra's $19 billion in-house corporate bond portfolio. He was with NN Investment Partners in New York and will be based in Farmington, Connecticut.

Garvey Schubert Barer attorney Sara P. Sandford has been elected chair of the American Bar Association Section of International Law for a one-year term. She also will serve as a board member on the ABA's Rule of Law Initiative. Sandford works with clients in establishing, acquiring and operating businesses across borders.

Seattle Housing Authority

The Housing Authority Insurance Group said Seattle Housing Authority won its 2016 Risk Management Award for Resident Safety. SHA implemented a new Facility Safety Audit in 2015 that added sections to improve safety at each site.

Bloodworks NW

Dr. James Zimring of Bloodworks NW has been appointed to chief scientific officer and director of Bloodworks Research Institute. He was director of transfusion medicine research. Zimring will lead the institute's independent academic researchers, core facilities and labs. Barbara Konkle, MD has been named associate scientific officer. She was director of diagnostic labs. Konkle will oversee clinical and translational research. Bloodworks NW serves nearly 90 hospitals in Washington, Oregon and Alaska with medical, transfusion and lab services, as well as research.

Sheri and Les Biller Family Foundation

The Sheri and Les Biller Family Foundation named Mark F. Dederer its new executive director. Dederer comes from Wells Fargo, where he was senior vice president for Wells Fargo Foundation and Community Affairs. The Biller Family Foundation focuses on public education, supportive care, theatre enrichment and career pathways. Dederer succeeds Colleen Oliver, who started with New Teacher Center in July.
