iinnovate Leadership Network

Perkins Coie partner David F. McShea has joined the board of advisors at iinnovate Leadership Network, a peer CEO network focused on the innovation economy. iinnovate was founded in 2016 by R. Joe Ottinger to help founders, CEOs and presidents of innovative companies. McShea joins others in the Seattle tech community, including Chris Ackerley, Artie Buerk, Vikram Jandhyala, Ralph Pascualy, Heather Redman, Michael Schutzler and Karl Triebes. Ottinger said less than 10 percent of tech companies have grown to more than 20 employees.

Clark Nuber

Clark Nuber PS, a Bellevue-based CPA firm, named Jennifer Becker Harris a tax shareholder. Harris joined Clark Nuber as a tax senior in 2003.

Stoel Rives LLP named John S. Laney a partner in the Seattle office. He is one of 13 new partners in the nationwide firm. Laney focuses on corporate governance, mergers and acquisitions, and corporate, securities and finance transactions.

Russell Investments

Global asset manager Russell Investments announced Bryan Weeks has joined the firm as head of the Americas Institutional business. He has 25 years of experience in institutional asset management, and most recently was CEO of Silver Creek Capital Management. Weeks succeeds Greg Gilbert, who is departing to pursue other personal and business interests

Andersen Tax

Andersen Tax has promoted Mark Wood to managing director. He is part of the state and local tax practice, and will join the team of eight managing directors in the Pacific Northwest. Andersen Tax has 143 managing directors in 19 locations in the U.S.

Woodland Park Zoo has a new vice president of communications and public affairs, Lauri Hennessey, and new vice president of development, Sarah Valentine. Hennessey has more than 25 years of experience in the news media, including at Edelman Public Relations in Seattle. Valentine joined the zoo in 2012, and became director of philanthropy in 2014.

Sound Mental Health

Sound Mental Health CEO Patrick C. Evans announced changes to the leadership team. Here is the team: Paul Eisenhauer, executive vice president and CFO; Mary Bartels, vice president and chief medical officer; Karen Ainley, vice president and chief people officer; Katrina Egner, vice president and chief programs officer; Susie Winston, director of clinical quality and excellence; and Stephen McLean, director of marketing and public relations. The organization is also filling other key positions in development, operations, strategy and technology.

Seattle-based HomeStreet, parent company of HomeStreet Bank, hired Mark R. Ruh to lead corporate development and strategic investment. He has extensive banking, finance, transaction and private equity investing experience in California and Indiana, and served five years in the Navy as a nuclear submarine officer.

Federal Reserve Bank

The Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco appointed Drew Wolff, treasurer of Starbucks, to the Seattle Branch board of directors for a three-year term, replacing Nicole W. Piasecki of Boeing. Cheryl B. Fambles, CEO of Pacific Mountain Workforce Development Council, has joined the board, replacing Greg Leeds of Wizards of the Coast.
