Cannon Fish Co.

The Aleutian Pribilof Island Community Development Association said Bob O'Bryant has been hired to lead operations and marketing at Cannon Fish Co., a seafood processing and marketing firm in Kent. O'Bryant succeeds Pat Rogan as president. O'Bryant was vice president of sales and marketing for Bellingham based Bornstein Seafood, and spent most of his career at Pacific Seafood Group. APICDA is one of six Western Alaska CDQ corporations established in 1992.

Puget Sound Regional Council

Snohomish County Executive Dave Somers has been elected president of the Puget Sound Regional Council. Pierce County Executive Bruce Dammeier has been elected vice president of the regional planning agency. They were chosen by elected leaders from King, Pierce, Snohomish and Kitsap counties. PSRC develops policies and coordinates decisions about regional growth, economic development and transportation planning.

Big Brothers Big Sisters

Big Brothers Big Sisters of Southwest Washington said CEO John Hicks is retiring at the end of August. Big Brothers Big Sisters has seen 60 percent growth in revenue since 2014 when Hicks started, and expanded into Yelm, Shelton, Chehalis, Raymond and North Thurston Public School District.

A nationwide search is on for a new CEO.

Lighthouse eDiscovery

Lighthouse eDiscovery, an ediscovery and consulting firm in Seattle, said it has combined forces with Discovia, another ediscovery company based in San Francisco. Brian McManus, CEO of Lighthouse, will lead the two teams. Discovia works with corporations and law firms.

Hamilton

Seattle City Light has named Sephir Hamilton its engineering and technology innovation officer. Hamilton will lead a team of nearly 250 professional engineers, project managers and staff who run the electric transmission and distribution system. He has been interim officer, and also was chief of staff at SCL. Before that he worked at Central Hudson Gas & Electric in Poughkeepsie, N.Y.

Washington State University

Mathew Jeffries, academic coordinator in Washington State University's College of Education, is now director of WSU's Gender Identity/Expression and Sexual Orientation Resource Center. He succeeds Heidi Stanton Schnebly, who has taken a job at Eastern Washington University.

The Estate Planning Council of Seattle has appointed new officers for 2017-2018. Ronald Nagle with Peterson Sullivan in Seattle is president. Immediate past president is Kurt Olson with Fahlman Olson & Little. Carla Wigen of Wells Fargo Private Bank is president-elect; Kathryn Garrison with Moss Adams Wealth Advisors is treasurer, and Michael Harman with JP Morgan is secretary.

Seattle-based glassybaby has a new charitable giving program — baby grants — designed to let customers and the public help direct grants to local nonprofits. Since the inception of glassybaby in 1999, the company has donated 10 percent of sales to causes and nonprofits. Total giving is over $6.5 million.
