HomeStreet Bank of Seattle will acquire a branch in El Cajon, California, from Opus Bank of Irvine, California, including $28 million in deposits. The branch is east San Diego County and near an office of the bank’s partner Kaiser Permanente. If the deal is approved, HomeStreet will have four branches in San Diego County and 16 in Southern California.

Miller Nash Graham & Dunn has hired Mona McPhee as counsel in the Seattle office on the business team. She focuses her practice on travel and tourism transactions, dispute resolution and risk management. McPhee was an attorney at Desh International and Business Law in Bellevue.
One Medical is now offering primary care services in the Pacific Northwest. The clinic is at 1600 Seventh Ave., Suite 110, in Seattle. The Seattle medical team includes Darla Klokeid, MD, who has been practicing in Seattle for 16 years. One Medical also has clinics in Boston, Chicago, Los Angeles, New York City, Phoenix, San Francisco and Washington, D.C. The company focuses on same-day appointments, convenient locations, and on-site lab tests, with no appointment required. One Medical is affiliated with 1Life Healthcare, a health care technology and management services company.

Cairncross & Hempelmann has formed an Agriculture Industry Group, led by John Rizzardi, to represent lenders and producers involved in timber, orchards, dairies, crops, food processing, fish farms and seafood. Rizzardi has over 40 years of experience with farms and financing. The team will also handle real estate, permits, trademarks, branding, employment and transactions.
The Bellevue-based coding school Coding Dojo will open a campus in Tulsa, Oklahoma. This will be the seventh location for the bootcamp and the first in a mid-size metro area with “an undiscovered technology community.” The firm said many employers in Tulsa are looking to fill tech positions. The campus will open Sept. 18 at 36 Degrees North, a co-working space at 36 E. Cameron St. Coding Dojo has campuses in Chicago, Dallas, Los Angeles, Seattle, Silicon Valley, Tulsa and Washington D.C.

Josh Jacobs, former CEO of Accuen Media, is joining the Seattle-based media and publisher platform Maven in a full-time officer role and as executive co-chair of the board of directors. Jacobs was president of services at the messaging app Kik Interactive, and has also worked at Omnicom Media Group and Yahoo.
Red Dot Corp., a Seattle-based provider of heating and air conditioning for commercial and military vehicles, hired Brian Kennedy as strategic sourcing manager. Kennedy will lead the aftermarket customer service team. He was with the HVAC manufacturer Bergstrom as aftermarket purchasing manager. John McCormack has been hired as senior supply chain manager. He was director of supply chain at Qualitel, an electronics manufacturing company.

Stoel Rives said Gabrielle Glemann has joined the firm as an of counsel attorney in the corporate group in Seattle. Glemann has experience in national and international bankruptcy. She was with Hughes Hubbard & Reed in New York City. Stoel Rives has 10 offices in seven states and the District of Columbia.
Liberty Lake-based Itron said Joan Hooper has been appointed senior vice president and chief financial officer. Hooper has more than 30 years of experience in finance and accounting. She was CFO of CHC Helicopter in Vancouver, British Columbia, and also worked at Dell and AT&T.
