RSM

RSM US, a provider of audit, tax and consulting services to middle market firms, named Paul Brajcich office managing partner for the Pacific Northwest. He has 33 years of audit and accounting experience and will oversee RSM's offices in Seattle and Tacoma, which employ more than 140 people.

Spokane Public Facilities District

Spokane Public Facilities District named Spokane Convention Center General Manager Stephanie Curran incoming CEO. The district's current CEO, Kevin Twohig, is retiring at the end of the year. Curran has been an employee of the district since 2003, and was named general manager in 2015. She starts next February.

State Department of Commerce

LDC Inc. of Woodinville was awarded a $260,000 contract by the state Department of Commerce to help local governments increase the supply of affordable housing. Commerce said the firm will work with King, Pierce, Snohomish, Kitsap, Whatcom, Thurston and Clark counties to develop guidelines by December of 2018. Leavitt Group Northwest

Tacoma-based Leavitt Group Northwest said it has merged operations with Group Services Northwest. Leavitt Group Northwest is part of Leavitt Group, a network of insurance brokers. The merger does not affect client policies, and all staff remains with the agency at the same location. Group Services Northwest has provided medical, dental, vision, life, disability and long term care insurance for over 60 years.

Flow Fitness

Flow Fitness in South Lake Union said it is opening a second location at 710 N. 34th St. in Fremont neighborhood on Oct. 30. Owner Justin Young said it will complement the 311 Terry Ave. N. location, with an open design that resembles a large training gym, as well as studios for barre, yoga and cycle.

First Tee of Greater Seattle

Dan Wartelle is the new executive director of First Tee of Greater Seattle, an international development organization that introduces young people to the game of golf. Wartelle is a communications and development executive with nearly 20 years of experience with area nonprofits. He was vice president of communications for Special Olympics Washington.

Port of Seattle

Stephanie Jones Stebbins is the new director of the Port of Seattle's Maritime Division, responsible for directing cruise operations, fishing and commercial operations, recreational marinas, marine maintenance work and industrial properties. Jones Stebbins has policy and planning experience. She previously directed the Port's Environmental and Planning Department and Seaport Environmental, and was manager of Seaport Strategic and Facility Planning.

SkillUp Washington

The National Fund has given a $300,000 grant, with support from Walmart Giving, to SkillUp Washington, a workforce funder collaborative at the Seattle Foundation. The grant will help expand careers in retail. SkillUp Washington also is launching the Center for Onboarding and Advancement in Retail (COAR) to focus on opportunities for youth, immigrants and refugees in and around Westfield-Southcenter Mall. COAR's work will be led by Port Jobs, a nonprofit workforce development intermediary.
