Kolb

Tacoma advertising and communications firm JayRay hired Leigh Kolb as assistant advisor. Kolb has a background in nonprofit marketing, travel and photography. She has created content and marketing strategies for Adaptive Sports Center and Oh Be Joyful Church in Colorado.

Erickson

Wideman

Portland-based aerospace manufacturer and aerial services company Erickson Inc. hired Stephen Wideman as vice president and CFO, and Micheal Hausinger as corporate controller. Wideman was vice president of finance and corporate treasurer at Flir Systems. He has experience in corporate financial management, financial planning, investor relations, financial risk management and fixed-income asset management. Hausinger, a CPA, was executive director of finance with Farouk Systems. He has experience in accounting and finance, and spent seven years in defense and aerospace.

Seattle Aquarium

Seattle Aquarium presented its first Lifetime Achievement Award to Dr. Sylvia A. Earle, the Conservation Research Award to Dr. Megan N. Dethier and the Scott S. Patrick Inspirational Award to George Willoughby. Earle is chair of Deep Ocean Exploration and Research, and an explorer-in-residence at National Geographic Society. Dethier is a research professor in the biology department at the University of Washington who is in full-time residence at the Friday Harbor Laboratories. Willoughby is a longtime aquarium board member.

Phillips Burgess

Hatch

Lacey Hatch joined the Olympia-Tacoma law firm of Phillips Burgess, where she is focusing on municipal law, land use, and environmental law and litigation. Hatch spent 10 years as senior assistant city attorney and senior legal planner at the city of Bellevue. Prior to that, she was city attorney for Roslyn and Algona, and assistant city attorney at DuPont and Tukwila.

Washington STEM

Washington STEM added Dr. Jenee Myers Twitchell as impact director and Deidre McCormack Martin as donor relations officer. Twitchell is leading all research, evaluation and data analytics activities. She has 12 years of experience with research projects that address equity gaps in education, and co-founded the University of Washington Dream Project. Martin has 17 years of nonprofit fundraising, leadership, program development and board management experience. She most recently was interim executive director for the Washington Association for Infant Mental Health.

Community and Technical Colleges

Crystal Donner was appointed to the Washington State Board for Community and Technical Colleges. Donner is president and CEO of Perteet, a transportation consulting firm, and has been a professional engineer for nearly 30 years. The nine-member board provides leadership for Washington's 34 public community and technical colleges. Donner replaces Shaunta Hyde.

Maven

Seattle-based Maven named Josh Jacobs president and executive chairman. Jacobs is a former Omnicom and Yahoo senior executive, and served as Maven's co-chair over the last year. Maven is an expert-driven group media network platform.

Solar Installers of Washington

Allison Arnold is the first executive director of Solar Installers of Washington, a solar trade association. Arnold has nearly a decade of experience, previously leading policy advocacy, marketing and communications for the U.S. solar business of Mitsubishi Electric. She also was a senior fellow for Seattle-based angel investment group E8, which targets clean technologies.

Cambia Grove

Julie Panek Anderson joined Cambia Grove as assistant director of programming. Anderson is leading an initiative that uses the health care community to solve system-wide health care challenges. She comes from Blue Shield of California. Cambia Grove is a health care-focused hub where Northwest innovators can develop solutions for the industry.
