Centri Technology

Robert Strickland is the new CEO of Seattle-based Centri Technology and its Atonomi arm. Strickland has more than 30 years of management experience and is a board member of Centri. He was CTO for Neustar and Grupo Televisa, and was senior vice president and CIO at T-Mobile USA. He replaces Vaughan Emery, who remains on the board and as an advisor. Centri and Atonomi provide security for devices in the Internet of Things.

SAGlobal

Seattle-based SAGlobal completed its merger with Atlanta-based 360 Vertical Solutions. The new company is a single-source provider of Microsoft Dynamics 365 solutions and services to professional services firms. It operates as SAGlobal, but retains 360 Vertical Solutions brands such as AEC360 and Legal360. Whit McIsaac and Brian Lounds are co-CEOs.

DigitalTown

Bellevue-based DigitalTown hired Dave Carter as CFO. Carter is experienced in finance and operations, with a recent focus on blockchain and cryptoassets. He is based in Toronto. DigitalTown supports communities with localized search engines, collaboration platforms and a free SmartWallet for payments.

Eat the Frog Fitness

Issaquah-based Eat the Frog Fitness signed an agreement with Canadian partners to develop 11 exercise studios in British Columbia. The company operates four studios — in Anacortes, Oak Harbor and Arizona — and plans to have 40 open by late 2019. It was founded in 2015 by former Olympian Bryan Clay and Joe Culver, who has experience in finance and corporate development.

Davis

Telerent Leasing named Jeff Davis as CEO of its Avidex Industries and Digital Networks Group divisions. Davis was COO at AVI-SPL, COO at Kratos Defense, vice president at Stanley Black & Decker and vice president at ADT Security. Bellevue-based Avidex and California-based Digital Networks Group provide integration and design services for audio/visual and technology systems.







Columbia Pulp

Columbia Pulp appointed Mike Schock as vice president in the Dayton headquarters and Tony Waldo as production manager at the Lyons Ferry facility and Pomeroy pilot plant. Schock has over 35 years of paper industry experience, most recently as director of global product development at Sonoco in South Carolina. Waldo has over 20 years of experience in nuclear and pulp and paper industries. He was base mill manager for Boise Cascade in Minnesota, and mission analysis manager at Washington River Protection Services in Richland. Columbia Pulp converts wheat straw and seed alfalfa into pulp and biopolymers for paper and packing products.

NAVFAC Northwest

Capt. Chad Brooks has assumed command of Naval Facilities Engineering Command Northwest at Naval Base Kitsap. Brooks took over for Capt. Chris Kurgan, who became commanding officer of the Civil Engineering Corps Officer School at Port Hueneme, California. Brooks was chief of staff of the Marine Corps Installations Pacific at Camp Butler, Okinawa.

UW Bothell

Krug

University of Washington Law School professor Anita K. Krug was named interim vice chancellor of academic affairs at UW Bothell. Krug has been a UW faculty member since 2010. Susan Jeffords, the former vice chancellor, accepted the position of provost at Portland State University. A search committee will begin looking for a permanent replacement this fall.







Stokes Lawrence

Attorney Claire Taylor joined the Financial Services Group of Stokes Lawrence. Taylor comes from Colvin + Hallett, where she specialized in tax disputes, IRS audits, tax defense and civil litigation. Prior to that she was a litigator in the Tax Division of the U.S. Department of Justice. Stokes Lawrence has offices in Seattle and Yakima.

Sterling Bank

Sterling Bancorp, the holding company of Sterling Bank & Trust, opened a branch in Bellevue at 1100 Bellevue Way N.E. The full-service branch provides residential and commercial loans, and retail and business banking services, including wealth management. Sterling operates 29 branches in Washington, California, New York and Michigan.
