Douglas N. Cutting and Chung-Han Kim have joined Sterling's Commercial Lending office in Bellevue as loan officers. Most recently, Cutting was senior commercial loan officer and chief credit officer. And, Kim was assistant manager and credit officer of the Korea Exchange Bank.
Steven M. Dorsey has joined Seattle-based Olympic Capital Partners L.L.C., a provider of financial advisory and intermediary services, as an associate. Dorsey comes from U.S. Bank where he was a financial analyst and loan officer.
Denise Fortner Anderson and Gini Salvador have joined Seattle-based Toll Free Cellular, providing first toll and airtime-free service for cellular telephone users, as director of network operations and manager of carrier relations. Anderson has held managerial and consulting positions with several telephone companies, carriers consultants and equipment manufacturers. Prior to joining Toll Free Cellular, Salvador served as an account executive for Walker & Quinn Inc. of Seattle.
Scott Candland has been named general manager at McCormick Woods, a golf course located in Port Orchard. Prior to that, Candland served as regional vice president with Village Resorts, a management company with properties throughout the West., and was most recently assigned to Port Ludlow Resort.

Northwest Cable Advertising has hired Beverly Green and Robert Leydon as sales representatives. Green comes from Pacific Publishing Co. of Seattle and Leydon previously worked at the Cascade Trade Assn. in Seattle.
Gordon W. Duncan, Ph.D, has been appointed chief executive officer of Bellevue-based BioFrontiers. Duncan comes from Kirkland-based ProCyte, a pharmaceutical company, where he was a corporate officer.
Liz Ashrafi has been promoted from public relations assistant to account executive at Imagio, a Seattle-based advertising and public relations firm dedicated to the high-tech market. Ashrafi joined Imagio in 1995 as a marketing assistant.
Krista Eichler, manager of public affairs for the Greater Seattle Chamber of Commerce, has been appointed executive director of The Alki Foundation, a business organization that assists candidates for local office who have demonstrated leadership in their community and business circles. The Alki Foundation is an affiliate of the Greater Seattle Chamber of Commerce.
Bothell-based The Seattle Northeast Residence Inn by Marriott, has been named as a national Quest for Quality Silver Hotel. The hotel was selected based on top performance in guest satisfaction, as well as market and financial performance.
