Paccar

Ron Ranheim has been named treasurer of Paccar Inc. in Bellevue. Ranheim was formerly treasurer of the Pacaar Financial Corp. and has been with the company since 1984. He attended the University of Washington and has an MBA from Oregon State.

Belltown Pub

Sean Gervais has been named chef at the Belltown Pub. Gervais will be responsible for developing the pub's new menu, as well as overseeing kitchen operations. The Belltown Pub opened in 1993 in the historic 1880's brick Barnes Building in Seattle's Belltown neighborhood.

The Traver Company

David Cox has joined The Traver Company, a Seattle design firm, as a graphic designer. Jennifer Covington has joined the firm as an administrative assistant.

PC Help

PC Help, a computer service, sales and consulting firm, has purchased a 6,000-square-foot office building in Bellevue at 2281 116th Ave NE, Suite 100. PC Help installs and services networks, provides custom programming and delivers instant repairs for computers and printers. It is an authorized reseller for Compaq, Hewlett Packard and ALR.

Bailey-Boushay House

Kathleen Benson has been promoted to residential services and operations manager at the Bailey-Boushay House. Anita Rogers has been hired as Bailey-Boushay's strategic and operations planner. Rogers worked for Bailey-Boushay as a contractor for the past three years, and will now be responsible for helping the facility make the transition to managed care. The Bailey-Boushay House, operated by Virginia Mason Medical Center, is a residential care facility and day health program for people living with AIDS.

Shoreline Community College

Warren Westlund Buick and the Buick and Cadillac Motor Division of General Motors have made two contributions to Shoreline Community College's Automotive Service Educational Program (GM-ASEP): a 1996 Cadillac Eldorado and a 1996 Buick Riviera. The GM-ASEP program, initiated in 1986 when the college joined hands with the Puget Sound Automotive Dealers Association, brings the business community and the college together in a joint effort to produce qualified automotive personnel.

Toll Free Cellular

Mike Atkins and Bill Douglass have joined Toll Free Cellular as senior information systems project managers. Atkins will serve as IS senior project manager for the customer billing systems. He will manage communications and customization work with third-party vendors, and his responsibilities will include recommending solutions for cost effective software for market data analysis. Douglass will manage development of call processing software and will coordinate deliverables, establish milestones and identify issues and solutions across multiple projects.

Northwest Venture Group

A Contemporary Theatre

A Contemporary Theatre has received a $2 million gift from the Allen Foundation for the Arts for the theatre's new facility at Kreielsheimer Place, the former Eagles Building, in downtown Seattle. The $30.4 million renovation of the historic building is on schedule for its September opening.

Sandusky Radio

Bob Kaake has been hired by San Francisco based Sandusky Radio as director of programming for its five Seattle radio stations. Kaake will oversee programming operations at adult contemporary KLSY-FM (92.5), nostalgia hits KIXI-FM (880), smooth jazz KWJZ-FM (98.9), business talk radio KEZX-AM (1150) and soft rock KRWM-FM (106.9). Carol Handley has been appointed as program director of smooth jazz KWJZ-FM (98.9). She will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day programming of the station. Sandusky Radio owns and operates stations in Dallas, Phoenix and Seattle.

Piranha Productions

Jennifer Boone has joined Piranha Productions, Inc. as account executive. Boone specializes in Apple's QuickTime VR and will help Piranha with the marketing of it to business websites on the internet. Piranha Productions, Inc. is a full-service video production and editing studio located in Seattle.
