Nickie Cartwright has been named manager of the Port of Seattle's Chill Factory at Terminal 91. Cartwright will be responsible for the operation of the largest on-dock refrigerated cargo facility on the West Coast, with the capacity to store 500,000 cartons of import and export commodities. Evelyn Findley has been named assistant manager at the Port's Chill Factory. She has worked for the Port for nearly 20 years and for more than 14 years at the Chill Factory.
Daniel Regis has joined Kirlan, Inc. as president. Regis' responsibilities will include managing and allocating the firm's private investment portfolio as well as investing the capital of two venture funds. Kirlan, Inc. is a private investment company located in Seattle.
Laura Koszarek and Brenda Nunes have formed a business called Edibles, marketing edible flowers. The goal is to bring back the use of flowers in new and innovative recipes. Northwest Cable Advertising has hired Santo Criscuolo as an account executive. Criscuolo will join the Seattle office. Previously, he was an account manager at KLSY-FM/KIXI-AM. Northwest Cable Advertising provides access to 14 popular cable networks.
Imagio Technology Advertising and Public Relations has hired Kristin Nerup as an assistant account executive in the public relations division and has hired Julie Moe as an marketing assistant. Nerup will work with Peak Technologies, developers of Internet utility tools, and BeComm, a start-up company in the process of developing proprietary software products. Moe will work with Labtec Enterprises, a leading computer speaker manufacturer in securing coverage in both consumer and computer trade publications. Headquartered in Seattle, Imagio offers a full range of advertising, PR and marketing services.
David Zeuske has been named area managing director of The Westin Hotel, Seattle. Zeuske will be responsible for all operations of the 865-room hotel. He will supervise the performance of The Westin Alyeska Prince Hotel in Anchorage, The Westin Bayshore in Vancouver, B.C., The Westin Hotel, Edmonton in Alberta and The Westin Hotel, Calgary in Alberta. He will also oversee development of new hotels in the region, including The Westin Hotel, Sea-Tac in Seattle.

Budinger & Associates, a geotechnical and material testing firm, is celebrating its 20th year. The company provides full geotechnical and subsurface exploration, environmental assessment and construction testing services. Budinger & Associates offices are located in Spokane.
Ackerley Outdoor Advertising had promoted Nicole Anton to director of community relations. Anton previously served as sales assistant for the company. As director of community relations, Anton will focus on managing all non-profit advertising campaigns in the Seattle and Tacoma markets, coordinating all special projects and community related events and handle all employee special events. Ackerley Outdoor Advertising is a subsidiary of Ackerley Communications, Inc., a multimedia advertising business, with interests in outdoor advertising, broadcast media, airport displays and professional sports.
Robert Nelson has been promoted to president of Conductive Rubber Technologies, Inc. (CRT). Nelson joined CRT in 1995 as vice president of engineering. CRT is a supplier of rubber keypads, keyboards, and keypad assemblies, providing engineering, design, and customer services for their custom products which are manufactured domestically in Asia. Seattle Aikikai is offering training in the Japanese art of Aikido to the employees of Wizards of the Coast, Inc. Aikido is a non-competitive martial art that focuses on achieving and maintaining harmony and balance to one's life. A martial arts dojo (a learning and practice facility) has been located inside the company's corporate offices in Renton. The classes offered provide a unique opportunity for employees of Wizards of the Coast to bring balance of aikido into their workday.
