Futureworks

EvansGroup has formed a new division, Futureworks, dedicated to the integration of digital, interactive communications with traditional media. The staff of Futureworks is already working with clients throughout the United States, including Johnson & Johnson, PetSmart, the Seattle law firm of Preston, Gates & Ellis, and the Dairy Farmers of Washington. Based in Seattle, Futureworks is led by EvansGroup senior vice president and managing director Kent Ord, co-creative directors Tom Farmer and Bob Case, Internet services director Debbie Newton, content flow designer Andrea Linsky and marketing director Katherine Chapman. The division employs 14 full-time staff members.

William M. Mercer

William M. Mercer, Inc., a human resources management consulting firm, has named Marcy Rubenstein Lehman as one of its new principals. Lehman is head of Mercer's Northwest communications practice group and specializes in communication strategic planning and organizational communications.

Snoqualmie Falls Brewing Co.

Snoqualmie Falls Brewing Company, a craft brewing company starting up in the town of Snoqualmie, is holding an open house on Feb. 22 from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. at the proposed brewery site off I-90 at exit 27, located at 8032 Falls Ave. S.E. The event is being held so that people who have purchased stock and those who are interested in investing can learn more about the plans for the new Snoqualmie Brewery. Continental Savings Bank

Continental Savings Bank, a subsidiary of Seattle-based Continental, Inc., has been awarded a five-star rating from Bauer Financial Reports Inc. The award indicates that Continental is one of the strongest financial institutions in the U.S., based on financial information for the quarter ending Sept. 10, 1996. This is the 10th consecutive quarter that Continental has received a five-star rating.

The law office of Heller Ehrman White & McAuliffe has admitted Leif Ormseth and Daniel Zariski as new shareholders to its Seattle office. Ormseth practices business law and Zariski represents corporations and individuals in a variety of litigation matters.
