Continental Savings Bank announces the following promotions: John Abplanalp to assistant vice president and manager of the Performance Lending Center; Renee Erickson, assistant vice president in savings administration; Dennis Floyd, assistant vice president and deposit services marketing officer, and Lori Rainwater, to assistant vice president of insurance services.
James Fearn has joined the Seattle law firm of Ogden Murphy Wallace as Of Counsel in the firm's Municipal Department. Fearn focuses on land use, environmental law and general municipal law.
The Washington State Chiropractic Association (WSCA) has elected the following members to serve on its 1997 board of directors: Joyce Middendorf, chairperson; Kenneth Shotwell, president; Donald Robinson, vice president; Stephen Saunders, secretary; David Chan, treasurer.
John McKay, a managing partner and litigation attorney at the Seattle law firm of Cairncross & Hempelmann, has been selected as the new president of the Legal Services Corporation. McKay will take a leave of absence from Caircross & Hempelmann to head the private, non-profit corporation in Washington, D.C. which works to assure equal access to justice for all Americans.
LaserAll Corporation has appointed Tracy Recknor as account manager for its newly opened Service and Dispatch Center in Seattle, serving the Pacific Northwest. LaserAll provides laser printer service and maintenance, and is an authorized Hewlett Packard Service Provider.
Price Waterhouse LLP announced the formation of two new practice groups in the Seattle office. International Assignment Services (IAS) will provide individual tax return preparation and tax planning to U.S. citizens employed by U.S.-headquartered companies in other countries, as well as citizens of other countries working in the U.S. Larry Ghirardo, senior manager, will lead the practice. The Information Systems Risk Management (ISRM) will evaluate security risks and other operational weaknesses in information systems technology, and develop recommendations for reducing those risks. Jose Carrera will manage ISRM. Ralph Tuliano has been admitted as a partner of Price Waterhouse in the Pacific Northwest Dispute Anaylsis and Corporate Recovery Services group.

Wilmer Communications Group, Inc., a Seattle-based advertising and marketing firm specializing in the hospitality industry, has opened a new office in the Bay Area. Micarl Hill has been appointed as executive vice president for the new office. Hill will manage the San Francisco Bay area office and will be responsible for client services and business development in California and throughout the West.
Barb Larimer has joined the Seattle financial services firm of Kibble & Prentice as marketing director.
Paul Chuey has joined the Seattle law firm of Short Cressman & Burgess P.L.L.C. as an associate. Chuey concentrates his practice in the areas of construction law, commercial litigation, copyright and employment law.
Tahl Tyson has joined the Seattle office of Davis Wright Tremaine as a senior associate in the firm's labor and employment law practice group.
