Everett-based Frontier Bank has made the following management promotions: Lyle Ryan, senior vice president and branch administrator; Nancy Holiman, has transferred to the main office as vice president and manager; and Randy De Klyen will act as vice president and manager of the Evergreen Way office.
The Fearey Group, a Seattle-based regional public relations agency, has added AIM International, Bruegger's Bagels, ERA Care, Inc., The Retail Group and Schwartz Brothers Restaurants to its client list. To accommodate its growing client list, the agency has hired Gerald Ostlund as senior account executive, and has promoted Heidi Gravrock to account coordinator, Tim Brennan to account supervisor and Michael Flynn to senior account executive.
Fluke Capital Management, L.P. announced that Kevin Gabelein has joined the firm as an associate in the Venture Capital Division.
Seattle-based DeLaunay/Phillips Communications Inc. has won two new accounts, Sprint PCS and InterNAP Network Services. The public relations agency will help develop and execute western Washington launch plans for Sprint PCS' new wireless communications network. For InterNAP, an Internet technology company that delivers information rapidly and reliably to web users, DeLaunay/Phillips will also develop and implement a strategic consumer, business and trade publicity campaign targeted to companies with "mission critical" Internet needs.
National restaurateur Fresh Choice, Inc. has awarded its Pacific Northwest advertising business to Bellevue-based agency Matthaeus Halverson Ayriss. The region was previously handled by a San Francisco firm. Matthaeus Halverson Ayriss will assume advertising responsibilities for five Fresh Choice-owned properties in the Northwest, all of which will operate under the Zoopa brand.
Everett Mutual Bank has appointed Susan Town as branch manager of its Lake Stevens branch.
Monica Lyons has joined Washington Transit Advertising as an account executive for Pierce County and will work out of WTA's Tacoma office.
Seattle's Grand Central Bakery will celebrate the 25th anniversary of its founding, beginning this week and through the summer. When it opened its doors in 1972 as "The Bakery," the oversized whole wheat cinnamon rolls which sold then for 25 cents quickly became its trademark. Grand Central shares its anniversary with another tenant in the Grand Central Arcade, Bookseller, David Ishii. Both were among the first tenants in the remodeled Grand Central Building. The bakery founders are Marian Maestretti and Gwen Bassetti.
Robert Seiple, president of World Vision, U.S., has announced his retirement to begin in June of 1998. Seiple has served 11 years of leadership in one of the largest Christian relief and development organizations in the world.
Seattle-based A la Francaise bakery has promoted Chris Ezell to wholesale sales manager.
