Kevin L. Grambush a shareholder in Kirkland-based Martin/Grambush has passed the Business Valuation exam, making him one of 520 CPAs throughout the U.S. who have received arreditation in business valuation from the American Insitute of CPAs. Grambush directs the firm's consulting and business valuation services.
MWW/Savitt, the West Coast office of The MWW Group, has hired Lisa J. Collins as senior account executive for the high-technology group and Ann Hedreen as senior account executive for the marketing communications group in the Seattle office. Collins most recently managed Seattle City Councilmember RIchard McIver's political campaign. Hedreen recently worked as a freelance video producer and writer.
Peter M. Anderson has been named a member of the Management Advisory Panel of the National Labor Relations Board's Advisory Committee on Agency Procedure. Anderson is a partner with the Seattle law firm of Bogle & Gates. Catherine M. Roth has been named agency's regional attorney in Seattle. Roth has been a supervisory attorney in the Seattle office since 1993.
Technical Communication Consultants, Inc. has moved to the Queen Anne Office Center, 1507 Queen Anne Ave. N., Suite 210. The women-owned business specializes in technical documentation, online help systems, hardware and software manuals, workflow analysis and training materials.
Port of Longview Commissioner J. Walter Barham was elected to the Pacific Coast Association of Port Authorities Executive Committee. The association is comprised of 27 member ports from Washington, Oregon, California, Canada and the Pacific Islands.

Metro Transit provided service to a record number of passengers for the second consecutive year. Metro buses, trolleys and transit vans provided 79 million passenger trips in 1997, up from the previous record of 76.4 million in 1996. An estimated 17 percent of King County commuters rode the bus to work or school, up from 11 percent in 1996.
McHugh's Restaurants has appointed Linda Broderick as director of sales and customer relations. Broderick will promote banquet business at the following seven restaurants: F.X. McRory's, Leschi Lakecafe, T.S. McHugh's, Floyd's Place, Jake O'Shaughnessey's, and The Roost and Chipper's. Broderick will also market off-premise catering for F.X. McRory's Catering. Broderick formerly served as director of sales and marketing at the East King County Convention and Visitors Bureau.
