Pacific Edge Software

Pacific Edge Software, a Kirkland-based developer of knowledge management solutions for organizations that manage projects, announced the appointments of Glenn Halstead as vice president of business development and Terry Kisner as vice president of client services. Halstead's responsibilities include exploring new business opportunities, developing strategic plans and strengthening partner relationships. Prior to joining the company, he served as vice president of sales and marketing for Cooper Interaction Design in Palo Alto, Calif. As vice president of client services, Kisner oversees the company's consulting organization and product support group. He brings to the company more than 14 years of management and high technology experience.

Chameleon Visual Arts

Chameleon Visual Arts, a Seattle-based design firm, announced that it won a silver award in the 1999 Awards for Design Excellence, sponsored by Design Journal. The award is for Chameleon's creation of a six-foot diameter, rotating glass and steel globe of planet Earth for the Fossil Co.'s flagship store in New York City.

JAMS, a company that offers clients a panel of judges, justices and attorneys to handle a variety of complex and high-stake cases, has added Gregory L. Bertram to its Seattle office. Bertram was most recently affiliated with Washington Arbitration and Mediation Service and has 15 years experience mediating more than 2,500 commercial cases.

Everett Community College

Everett Community College instructor Ken White has been appointed college project coordinator for a new Teacher Training Pilot Program initiated by Western Washington University's Woodring College of Education. The new Teacher Training Pilot Program received $150,000 from the State Higher Education Coordinating Board earlier this year through a statewide competitive grant program to improve the recruitment, professional education and certification of K-12 teacher

Northwestern Trust and Advisory Co., a Seattle-based full-service private trust company, announced that Lorraine Gunderson has been named a vice president. Gunderson has nine years experience in the investment and trust industry, most recently serving as senior consultant at RV Kuhns & Associates in Portland.

Hotel Edgewater

David Reinhold has been named executive chef of Hotel Edgewater in Seattle. Reinhold has more than 12 years of experience in the hotel food and beverage industry, most recently as the chef de cuisine at the Hyatt Regency Guam in Tumon Bay, Micronesia.

BogartGolf

BogartGolf, a Bellevue-based golf instruction center, announced the addition of Bill Yeend, morning host on KIRO Newsradio, and Paul Jerue, principal and co-founder of Broderick Group, to its advisory board.

McCann-Erickson
