Tenzing Communications

Seattle's Tenzing Communications named Michael Pinckney vice president of marketing. Pinckney was most recently vice president of marketing at Nimble Technology. He has held positions at Microsoft and Capital Stream. Tenzing works with airlines and regional Internet service providers to provide e-mail and short message service for laptops and seatback video screens.

Hydrogen Advertising

Hydrogen Advertising, located in Pioneer Square, named Amanda Muehler account coordinator. The firm's president, Bill Fritsch, was named to the board of directors at the Pacific Science Center. Hydrogen's clients include Children's Hospital, Everett Clinic, Valley Medical Center, Da Vinci Gourmet, Precor and Spira.

London Fog

Seattle-based London Fog Industries has eliminated 36 jobs at its Seattle headquarters and restructured its Seattle operations. The company recently outlined a strategic initiative to separate its primary divisions -- Pacific Trail, London Fog Trade and London Fog Factory Outlet Stores -- into independently managed businesses. Under the restructure, the Pacific Trail Division and the headquarters for London Fog Industries will remain in Seattle.

Loudeye

Seattle's Loudeye named Jay Samit to its board of directors. Samit is president of digital distribution and development at EMI Recorded Music. Loudeye provides services for management, promotion and distribution of digital media.

Integra Telecom

Portland-based Integra Telecom hired Trent Anderson as chief operating officer. Anderson was most recently chief executive officer of San Diego's SkyRiver and was previously with Integra Telecom as a senior vice president in charge of Oregon operations. Integra Telecom is an integrated communications carrier providing local telecom service in the upper Midwest, Mountain and Pacific Northwest regions.

T-Mobile USA

Thomas J. Sugrue has joined Bellevue's T-Mobile USA as vice president of government affairs. Sugrue will be based in T-Mobile's Washington D.C. office. He was head of the FCC's Wireless Bureau and was deputy assistant secretary of commerce at the National Telecommunications and Information Administration. T-Mobile USA is a member of T-Mobile International, a subsidiary of Deutsche Telekom. T-Mobile's wireless broadband network serves more than 2,400 public access locations.

Tamara Wilson Public Relations

Tamara Wilson Public Relations has been named by Taco Del Mar as its public relations agency of record. Horton, Lantz & Low, a Seattle-based advertising agency for Taco Del Mar, will work with the company and its principal Tamara Wilson, who will lead Taco Del Mar's projects.

MAQ Software

Redmond's MAQ Software has opened a new technology center in Mumbai, India. The center will increase MAQ Software's India-based staff to 60 engineers. MAQ Software was founded by former Microsoft employees and is one of Microsoft.NET's developers. The center will focus on developing solutions for Microsoft platforms and technologies.

Radix Marine

Louis Cimaglia has joined Silverdale's Radix Marine as chief executive officer. Cimaglia has worked with the Defense Intelligence Agency, Central Intelligence Agency and National Security Agency. He will be based in Annapolis, Md., to expand Radix's presence among East Coast military and defense industries. Radix Marine recently announced a corporate restructuring, including a new management team and refinement of its business model to focus on opportunities with the U.S. Navy, Coast Guard and Marine Corps, and to target the international market for high-speed unmanned surface vehicles.

SkyTaxi

SkyTaxi, headquartered in Salem, Ore., has expanded its operations in Washington, Montana, Idaho, Utah, Nevada and California. SkyTaxi provides on-demand passenger air service, at single-seat fares, to over 300 Northwest communities with a franchised network of aircraft based throughout its service area. The company recently passed its first-year anniversary.
