MultiCare Health Foundation

Linda Kaye Briggs has joined the MultiCare Health Foundation as executive director. She was senior vice president of resource development and community relations for United Way of Pierce County.

Mary Bridge Children's Foundation

Frank J. Colarusso joined Mary Bridge Children's Foundation as major gifts officer. The foundation seeks community support for Mary Bridge Children's Hospital & Health Center to meet medical and health care needs of children and their families, regardless of their ability to pay.

Philanthropy Northwest

Philanthropy Northwest hired Carol Lewis as chief executive officer. Lewis was chief administrative officer for Coinstar, and was also executive director of Pacific Northwest Ballet and deputy mayor for the city of Seattle. Philanthropy Northwest is a regional association of grantmakers and philanthropists.

Envision Telephony

Envision Telephony has started a business consulting service to be headed by Connie Smith. The group will work to help companies get a maximum return on their technology investments. Envision provides business solutions that link contact centers to businesses. Envision has offices in Seattle and Atlanta as well as in Australia and Europe.

Longview Fibre

Longview Fibre Co. appointed Paul L. "Larry" Brill to vice president of production, West Coast region, for the company's western container division. Brill will oversee corrugated and solid-fiber container manufacturing. He will be based in Seattle. He has 28 years of managing experience in the corrugated-packaging business.

Washington Research Foundation

Luciana Simoncini is Washington Research Foundation's new director of research commercialization. She will manage an annual fund that is used to support potentially valuable commercial research at the University of Washington. Simoncini was a scientist and business development manager at ZymoGenetics, a Seattle-based biotechnology company.

AmericanWest

Spokane's AmericanWest Bancorporation appointed Nicole Sherman executive vice president and director of retail banking of AmericanWest Bancorporation and it subsidiary, AmericanWest Bank. Sherman is a faculty member at Pacific Coast Banking School in Seattle. AmericanWest has 42 locations in Eastern and Central Washington and Northern Idaho.

Tableau Software

Seattle's Tableau Software, a provider of visual reporting and analysis solutions, added Jeremy Jaech to its advisory board. Jaech co-founded Aldus Software, now Adobe, and Visio Corp., now Microsoft. Kevin Brown has joined as vice president of marketing. Brown has 25 years of software industry experience.
