Renton Chamber of Commerce

Renton Chamber of Commerce member Bernadene "Bernie" Dochnahl will be next year's chair of the East King County Chambers of Commerce Legislative Coalition. The coalition brings together nine chambers on the greater Eastside to educate policymakers on topics such as taxation, transportation, regulatory reform and growth management. Dochnahl has 25 years of management and leadership, including work as an executive for Bellevue startup ClearMedical.

McAdams Wright Ragen

Seattle-based broker dealer and investment advisor McAdams Wright Ragen has set up a corporate finance department. Robert J. "Bob" Rogowski is managing director. Rogowski was a principal with Columbia Financial Advisors. McAdams Wright Ragen has offices in Seattle and Bellevue and manages $2 billion in assets for clients, mostly in the Pacific Northwest.

Olympic Cellars

Port Angeles winery Olympic Cellars says it plans to expand into the California market next week with its line of Working Girl wines available in retail outlets around the state. Olympic Cellars is housed in an historic barn between Port Angeles and Sequim, and each year produces about 3,200 cases of wines on site. Grapes come from vineyards in Washington. Wines retail for $10 to $12 per bottle.

Lane Powell

Dawn S. Spratley joined the Seattle law firm Lane Powell as an associate in the tax group. Spratley will focus on international estate planning, cross-border business transactions and taxation. Lane Powell has 170 lawyers in Washington, Oregon, Alaska and London.

Seattle Mystery Bookshop

Seattle Mystery Bookshop is moving 100 feet west at the end of this month, but will keep its address, 117 Cherry St. The phone number remains (206) 587-5767. The store sells collectable books of crime and mystery fiction. Bill Farley founded it in 1990 and is a part-time staff member. Since 1999 the business has been owned by J. B. Dickey, who joined when it started. Other staff members are Tammy Domike, Fran Fuller, Sandra Goodrick and Janine Wilson.

Envision

Seattle-based Envision named Tom Dillard executive sales director for the western region. Dillard will manage the sales force and find business development opportunities. He was most recently at etalk, where he ran North American national accounts and sales operations. Envision provides business solutions for contact centers.

Specialty's Cafe & Bakery

Specialty's Cafe & Bakery has opened in a 2,000 square-foot space at Bellevue Square's center court, offering organic coffee, pastries and sandwiches.

Silver Creek Capital Management

Silver Creek Capital Management named Bryan Weeks president. Weeks was a managing director at the Russell Investment Group. Weeks will oversee Silver Creek's operations, investor relations and business development activities, and will work out of the firm's Seattle headquarters. R. Spencer Potts has joined the firm from Merrill Lynch's Hedge Fund Origination Group. Potts will be based in the company's New York office and work on investor relations and business development. Silver Creek Capital Management manages hedge funds and has nearly $3.7 billion in assets under management.

Williams, Kastner & Gibbs

The Seattle Indian Health Board named Leona Colegrove to its board of directors. She's an associate at the Seattle office of law firm Williams, Kastner & Gibbs. Raised on the Quinault and Yakama Indian Reservations, Colegrove now focuses on Indian and gaming law, providing legal services to Tribes.

The board's 15 members oversee medical, dental, pharmacy, mental health, nutrition and chemical dependency services.
