The Bellevue mobile application developer Thumbspeed appointed Hank Skorny president and chief executive officer. Skorny will also be on the company's board of directors. He has 19 years of experience, including work as a vice president at InfoSpace and general manager for AOL Mobile.
Seattle-based Cascade Natural Gas named Rick Davis chief financial officer. He will succeed J.D. Wessling, who is retiring. Davis held finance positions for 18 years with companies such as Weyerhaeuser and Deloitte & Touche. Cascade Natural Gas serves 220,000 customers in Washington and Oregon.
Williams, Kastner & Gibbs announced Seattle office associate Leona Colegrove was named to Washington Supreme Court's Commission on Children in Foster Care. The commission's goal is to give children safe, permanent homes and recommend related legislation. Her practice focuses on Indian and gaming law. Williams, Kastner & Gibbs has offices in Seattle, Tacoma and Portland.

Rueben A. Mayes is the new senior director of development for the Washington State University College of Business and Economics. He replaces Rene Scourey, who is vice president of communications and donor relations at the WSU Foundation. Mayes held fundraising leadership positions at the National Association of Street Schools and Crista Ministries in Seattle.
Spokane's AmericanWest Bancorp named Diane Kelleher executive vice president and chief financial officer. Kelleher was with Washington Mutual and has more than 20 years of banking experience. Greg Hansen is executive vice president and director of commercial lending for AmericanWest Bank. Hansen was a team leader for U.S. Bank's Spokane commercial lending team. AmericanWest has 42 offices in eastern and central Washington and northern Idaho.
Matt Lynch will focus on securities and insurance as a senior consultant in the Seattle office of Moss Adams. He has 10 years of experience including work at Lincoln Financial Advisors, where he was most recently chief financial officer. Moss Adams provides accounting and consulting services.
The Alaska Air Group named Marne McCluskey vice president of employee resources for Horizon Air. McCluskey has been the company's employee resources director, and oversaw recruiting and record-keeping in Seattle and Portland.
