Davis Wright Tremaine attorneys Patti Thompson and Elisabeth Woare have relocated from the firm's Bellevue office to Seattle. Thompson specializes in transactions involving contaminated properties, and Woare focuses on commercial leasing transactions.
Mill Creek attorney Maureen Ryan has been elected president of the Everett Community College Foundation board. She is president and founder of The Fairway Firm, which provides employee relations consulting. The foundation provides financial support for scholarships, programs, services, equipment and capital improvements.
Ray's Boathouse Restaurant promoted Lisa Rongren to wine director. She was the waterfront restaurant's assistant wine director.
Pitney Bowes signed an agreement to purchase Print Inc. of Bellevue for approximately $47 million. Print Inc. provides bundled offerings of printer supplies, service and equipment, and employs 221 people. Connecticut-based Pitney Bowes has $5.5 billion in annual revenue and 34,000 employees worldwide.

The Seattle office of DDB, the world's largest advertising firm, has hired Barry Malone as senior vice president, director of integrated client services. He was a partner in FCB London. DDB's local office has also hired Peter Banfield as interactive development lead, Valerie Bengoa as finance director, Jennifer Gamelin as assistant account executive, Greg Gulick as graphic designer, Scott Stripling as senior copywriter and Kendra Gurnett as assistant account executive.
Schwabe, Williamson & Wyatt has promoted Karen T. Kervin to director of marketing and client relations. She joined the Portland-based law firm in 1985.
David Beyer has been appointed as Everett Community College's new president. He was a consultant with Boise State University in Idaho.
Potlatch Corp. has named Brent Stinnett vice president, resource management. He replaces John Olson, who retired recently. Stinnett was with Plum Creek Timber Co. Potlatch is a real estate investment trust with 1.5 million acres of forest land in Idaho, Minnesota, Arkansas and Oregon.
