Foss Maritime

Susan Hayman has been picked as the first vice president for health, safety and environment at Seattle-based Foss Maritime. Hayman will conduct preventive safety, loss prevention and occupational health programs for Foss employees worldwide. She was global vice president for environmental affairs for American President Lines. Foss provides marine transportation services.

Graham & Dunn

Russel R. Robertson has joined the Seattle-based law firm of Graham & Dunn as an associate on the Financial Services team. Susan M. Johnson, of counsel, has been elected to the Washing Wine Industry Foundation Board of Directors.

Clark Nuber

The Bellevue-based public accounting and consulting firm Clark Nuber has hired Lisa Iwata as manager of learning and development. She was the director of education of the Washington Society of CPA.

Longview Fibre

James E. “Jake” Jacobson, manager of Longview Fibre's Yakima container plant, has retired after 40 years at the firm. He was involved with three major expansions and had 27 years of supervisory experience.

Wells Fargo

Lupita Scott has been named manager of Wells Fargo's downtown Seattle main bank. She was manager of a Wells Fargo bank in Portland.

Steelhead Productions

Steelhead Productions has promoted Lance Randall to director of client services and Dawn Dillon to account manager. Randall joined Steelhead in 1999, Dillon in 2003. Steelhead Productions produces trade show exhibits, custom rental displays and trade show services in Poulsbo.

Allstate Insurance

Allstate Insurance Company has promoted Christina Troyer to field product manager of the Northwest region, which is headquartered in Bothell.

Troyer has worked for Allstate for seven years.

Avanade

Avanade has appointed Dale Christian as chief information officer and Richard Stern as U.S. East region general manager. Christian spent the last 14 years with Microsoft. Stern was president and chief operating officer of Resolute. Avanade calls itself a “technology integrator specializing in the Microsoft enterprise platform.”

Retail coop Recreational Equipment Inc. plans to open a 26,000-square-foot store at The Shops at River Park in Fresno, Calif., in the spring of 2007.
