KeyBank in Bellevue promoted Ben Noble to business banking sales leader at KeyBank. Noble has been a KeyBanker since 1998 and was recently a senior business banking relationship manager in the Bellevue Business Banking Group.

Schwabe, Williamson & Wyatt

As part of the firm's growing China practice, Schwabe, Williamson & Wyatt has entered into a cooperative agreement with Stephenson Harwood & Lo, an international law firm based in China with offices in Hong Kong, Guangzhou and Shanghai. The two firms will remain separate and independent entities, but will cooperate to serve clients on both sides of the Pacific.

Virginia Mason Medical Center hired three pediatricians. Jenny Vengalil was hired at the Federal Way clinic. Gabe Berson was hired at the Pediatric and Adolescent Medicine Clinic in downtown Seattle. Kristin Nyweide was hired at the Sand Point clinic.

Vietnamese Friendship Association

The Vietnamese Friendship Association in Seattle hired Vu Le as executive director. Le joined VFA in 2005 and served two terms as a member of the Dan Than Corps, which translates to “be the change.” The nonprofit agency focuses on ensuring Vietnamese children receive quality education.

Gene Juarez Salons & Spas

Bellevue-based Gene Juarez Salons & Spas plans to open a full service salon and spa in the University Village shopping center. Construction on the 8,500-square-foot space next to Crate & Barrel will break ground in February of 2008, with grand opening slated for August.

ZenZui

Seattle-based ZenZui, a mobile phone browsing company, hired Michael Vernon as chief financial officer. Vernon was chief financial officer at aQuantive between 2000 and 2006.

Resolute Solutions

Bellevue-based Resolute Solutions Corp., a business and technology consulting firm, hired Russell L. Cooper as director of legal affairs. Cooper has practiced law with Stanislaw Ashbaugh, Davis Wright Tremaine and K&L Gates.

WSU Board of Regents

Gov. Chris Gregoire appointed Scott Carson, president and chief executive officer of Boeing Commercial Airlines, to the Board of Regents of Washington State University. Carson is a 1972 graduate in business administration from WSU. He will assume the seat occupied by Ted Baseler, president and CEO of Ste. Michelle Wine Estates.

APCO Worldwide

Trevor Neilson, former director of public affairs and special projects at the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, has been hired as a senior advisor at APCO Worldwide, and will be based in the Washington D.C. office. He will also serve on the firm's International Advisory Council. Neilson was a spokesperson for the Gates family and also served in the Clinton White House. APCO Worldwide is an independently owned global communication consultancy.

Port of Tacoma

The Port of Tacoma hired Jeni Dickerson as senior contract administrator. Dickerson has nine years experience in construction contract administration and worked with the Washington State Department of Transportation, Westmark Construction and Totem Electric of Tacoma.
