Berk & Associates, a public policy and management consultancy, hired Julia Warth, Erik Rundell, Nat Sahlstrom and Fauna Doyle. Warth is as project associate. Rundell is a policy/geographic information systems analyst and urban planner. Sahlstrom is a financial/economic policy analyst. Doyle is a policy analyst and facilitator in the firm's Strategic Planning and Policy Development Practice.
Clark Nuber, a CPA firm in Bellevue, made a series of new hires. Chris Bothwell is state and local tax manager. Heather Engstrom and Chollada Lippoth are audit seniors. Kelly Favors, Arlene Ho, and Matt Sutorius are audit associates. Shon Gates is document specialist. Alice Schuerman is tax processing coordinator. Sara Sutorius is tax associate. Jessica Little and Amanda Rees are audit interns. Bonnie Walter is tax intern.
The Washington State Transportation Commission elected Dan O'Neal to commission chair and member Elmira Forner to vice-chair. O'Neal was appointed to the commission in 2003 and is on the board of directors of The Greenbrier Companies, a railroad car leasing and manufacturing company. Forner has been a planning commissioner for Kent and a state representative. The commission provides a public forum for transportation policy development.

Gallagher Benefit Services of Bellevue, a lending benefits broker and administrator, hired Kevin Cipoletti as area vice president, sales and marketing. Cipoletti has 20 years of employee benefits experience and last worked with Great-West Healthcare in Bellevue.
Stoel Rives hired John Ridge and Ryan Steen in its Seattle office. Ridge returns to the Litigation Practice Group after being an associate with the firm from 2003 and 2007, briefly leaving to be an assistant city attorney for Bellevue. Steen is an associate in the Resources, Development and Environment Practice Group. He was an attorney at Schwabe, Williamson & Wyatt.
Skyline at First Hill hired Alan Fletcher as executive director. Fletcher has 34 years of senior living experience and was executive director of a life care community in Naples, Fla. Skyline is an $125 million high-rise and life care community under construction in Seattle.

Bothell-based Molina Healthcare hired Glen H. Bogner as president of its health plan subsidiary, Molina Healthcare of Washington. Bogner has 20 years of health care industry experience. He replaces Dale Ahlskog, who retired this year. Molina has about 289,000 members enrolled in its health plan.
Jim Flies has joined the board of directors of Northwest Seaport in Seattle. Flies is the purchasing manager for Harley Marine Services. He has also served as the academic dean and dean of students at Seattle Preparatory School, where he taught for 20 years.
Meg Zook is director of sponsorship for the World Trade Center in Seattle, which is owned by the Port of Seattle and managed by Seattle-based Columbia Hospitality.
