Department of Energy

The U.S. Department of Energy hired John Eschenberg as assistant manager for the waste treatment and immobilization plant project at the Office of River Protection. He is responsible for the design, construction and operation of the WTP at the Hanford Site in southeastern Washington State.

CFO Selections

Bellevue-based CFO Selections, a CFO services company, hired Carol Forsberg as senior recruiter and Wendy Bilbruck as associate recruiter to its search practice. Forsberg was a partner with Paladin Partners. Bilbruck spent eight years working for a CD/DVD manufacturer in Kent.

Tap House Grill

Seattle-based Tap House Grill opened a new billiards lounge in its restaurant located at 1506 6th Avenue. The billiards lounge four pool tables.

Fitch

Columbus, Ohio-based Fitch, an international design and consulting firm, made new hires in its Seattle studio. Annie Patterson is director of business development. She has 18 years experience and worked at Macy's Northwest in Seattle. Nathan Jones is lead designer for Interactive Offering. Jones has 10 years experience and was at HL2 in Seattle.

Nikwax

U.K-based Nikwax promoted Chas Fisher in the Seattle office to lead the international Nikwax Marketing and Identity Team. Fisher has worked for Nikwax since 2004 and will retain his title as president of Nikwax, N.A., the North American subsidiary. Nikwax produces products that protect apparel, footwear and outdoor gear.

Northwest Staffing Resources

Portland-based Northwest Staffing Resources, a full service staffing company, made a series of new hires. Beth Yovanovich and Alyssa Warner are recruiters for the Bellevue branch, Kiki Hower is a recruiter in Kent and Rita Patterson is a personnel coordinator for Bellevue. Jose Cortez, a company employee of four years, also transferred from Bellevue to Kent to spearhead recruiting efforts for the branch.

The Allison Inn & Spa

The Allison Inn & Spa, which is set to open late next summer in Newberg, Ore., hired Pierre Zreik as general manager. Zreik is general manager at Cavallo Point in Sausolito, Calif., and has 25 years of experience with luxury hotels and resorts.

Schwabe, Williamson & Wyatt

Regional law firm Schwabe, Williamson & Wyatt hired Paul Beattie as a shareholder and member of the intellectual property and commercial litigation practice groups. Beattie was an intellectual property litigator at the Seattle office of Darby & Darby.

Banner Bank promoted Jay Jamerson to vice president/division operations manager. Jamerson was assistant vice president/customer service manager. He joined Banner Bank in 2001. Banner Bank is a commercial bank headquartered in Walla Walla.
