The Washington City/County Management Association awarded Terrie Battuello, assistant city manager/economic development manager for Bothell, the Assistant Excellence in Leadership Award for her work on ensuring life safety upgrades were made in Bothell apartments with poor living conditions.
The Salish Lodge & Spa hired Lauren Evans as the new sales manager. Evans has eight years experience in the luxury and tourism industry, and was sales coordinator for Bell Harbor International Conference Center and World Trade Center.
Shoreline Bank hired Jim O'Neill as senior vice president and business banking officer in the Ballinger branch. O'Niell has been in the banking industry for over 30 years.

Northwest Hospital & Medical Center added Emily Cooper to its medical staff as a board-certified internist. She will work at Sandpoint Internists in North Seattle.
Parsons Public Relations hired Joe Feese as a senior account manager. Feese was chief writer at Nyhus Communications and has experience in communications consulting, technical editing, news writing and interactive online news packages.
Tacoma Art Museum hired Cameron Fellows as deputy director and director of administration and finance. Fellows joined the museum in August, filling a position left vacant after Doug Coleman retired. This position has since been expanded to include the role of deputy director. Fellows has worked at the Northwest Center for five years.
Secretary of State Sam Reed hired Pam Floyd as the new head of the Corporations Division in his office. Floyd joined the agency in 2003 and has been acting corporations director for the past two and a half months. She has 11 years of experience in government work.

Kibble & Prentice, an insurance and financial services company, hired David Stapleton as a sales executive in the Commercial Insurance Division.
The Bellevue-based Baldwin Resource Group hired Susan Webber in the business consulting division as a senior member in the Human Resource Practice. Webber has 25 years experience in human resource and organization development management and recently worked for Concur Technologies.
Kirkland's Wilde Rover Irish Pub & Restaurant hired Andy Leonard as chef. Leonard has a range of culinary experience and apprenticed at the luxury resort The Cloister in Georgia, and opened Opal on Queen Anne.
Richard J. Puckett has been named senior vice president and chief operating officer for the Washington State University Foundation. Puckett has worked at WSU since 1999 in a variety of roles including director of the WSU Athletic Foundation. The WSU Foundation was established in 1979 to advance the school's educational experience, research and community outreach by securing and managing private support.
