Ragen MacKenzie

The Bellevue offices of Ragen MacKenzie, a division of Wells Fargo Investments, is relocating its offices to the Wells Fargo Tower at Civica Office Commons at 205 108th Ave. N.E. The move will bring all Wells Fargo Wealth Management Group Eastside entities to the same location for the convenience of customers and team members. Ragen MacKenzie will also increase its size by nearly 7,000 square feet from its current location, where it occupies 18,100 square feet.

Richmond Internal Medicine

Richmond Internal Medicine, a wholly owned subsidiary of Northwest Hospital & Medical Center, hired Prema Raghu. Raghu is trained in internal medicine and endocrinology, with a strong interest in diabetes care. She has been in practice in the Seattle area since 1986.

Cairncross & Hempelmann

Seattle law firm Cairncross & Hempelmann hired Yousef Arefi-Afshar as an associate. He returns to Cairncross & Hempelmann having spent the summer of 2007 with the firm as a diversity fellowship recipient before returning to Iran to finish a contract for the Iranian National Basketball Team. Arefi-Afshar is also the founder of a nonprofit organization, The Foundation for Iran's Forgotten Children, seeking to aid orphaned and mentally ill children in Iran.

Washington State Bar Association

Benjamin Nivison, an associate in the Seattle office of regional law firm Schwabe, Williamson & Wyatt, was recently appointed to a position on the Washington State Bar Association Pro Bono and Legal Aid Committee by the WSBA Board of Governors. The committee works to draft initiatives that encourage pro bono participation by Washington attorneys. Nivison focuses his practice in the areas of commercial litigation, maritime law and wine industry law.

GordonDerr hired H. Ray Liaw and Katie Cote. Liaw is a recent graduate of the University of Washington School of Law. Cote joins the firm as a land use planner. She was a planner for the city and borough of Juneau, Alaska. GordonDerr is a Pacific Northwest law firm that concentrates on real estate

PRR

PRR, a full-service communications, marketing and community-building firm with offices in Seattle and Washington, D.C., announced new principals. PRR's CEO Rita Brogan and COO Michael Richards will continue as majority owners of the firm and are now joined by Mike Rosen, Denise Walz, Keri Shoemaker, Kevin Thompson, Megan Blacksher, Colleen Gants, Rick Griggs, Alex Sobie and John Voldal.

Calistoga Pharmaceuticals

Seattle-based Calistoga Pharmaceuticals hired Carol G. Gallagher as chief executive officer. Gallagher was CEO of Metastatix and worked at Biogen Idec, and CancerVax. Calistoga develops medicines for the treatment of cancer and inflammatory diseases.

Kite Inc.

Kite Inc., a brand strategy and design firm, has started work on the first phase of a brand development project for Seattle's Capitol Hill neighborhood. The Capitol Hill Chamber of Commerce hired Kite to help promote the neighborhood as a great place to live, work and shop.The first phase of work will focus on branding and message development.

Skamania Lodge

Skamania Lodge hired Danyelle Tinker as new business development associate. Tinker will be based in Portland. She was catering sales manager at the Red Lion Hotel, Convention Center in Portland.
