Kibble & Prentice

Kibble & Prentice, an insurance and financial services company, hired David Haldi in the Commercial Insurance Division as a sales executive. Haldi works with businesses to develop commercial insurance and risk management programs.

JayRay

Tacoma-based JayRay, a communications consultancy, hired Kandace Glavick as assistant advisor. Glavick interned at JayRay this fall and worked with Sound Credit Union, Catholic Health Initiatives and St. Francis Healthcare Campus.

Mirabella Seattle

Mirabella Seattle, a new continuing care retirement community that opens this month, hired Dave Johnson as human resources director and promoted Chris Masson to marketing director. Johnson was executive director of a similar community in Seattle. Masson has 25 years experience and joined Mirabella's marketing team in 2006.

Ivar's Restaurants

Ivar's Restaurants has opened a new Southcenter Ivar's. The space was designed by Tacoma-based BCRA with a modern interpretation of the nostalgic Ivar's maritime imagery.

Shoreline Bank promoted Zachary Brown to assistant vice president/accounting manager and Curtis Arnesen to assistant vice president. Brown has worked at Shoreline since 2003. Arnesen joined Shoreline in 2004.

WhatCounts, a Seattle-based e-communication program company, hired Vicky Oxley as vice president of services. Oxley has almost 20 years experience in executive level management with AT&T.

Ashley Gardens of Mt. Vernon, a memory care community, hired Steve Needham as wellness director. Needham has seven years experience in health care and four years experience in skilled nursing care. He was a licensed practical nurse at the community.

The Resort at the Mountain

Coastal Hotel Group hired Scott Read as controller at The Resort at The Mountain in Oregon. Read has worked in the hotel business since 1975 and has worked in hotels and restaurants in Hawaii, Arizona, Oregon and California.
