KemperSports

KemperSports announced Ross Liggett is sales and marketing director at Heron Lakes Golf Club. Heron Lakes is a 36-hole Robert Trent Jones II-designed course owned by Portland Parks and Recreation and managed by KemperSports since June of 2008. Liggett recently oversaw operations at Stratton Mountain Resort in Stratton Mountain, Vt.

First Sound Bank

First Sound Bank promoted Sean Biermanski to senior vice president and team leader. Biermanski joined the bank in April of 2008 with 18 years of experience in sales, insurance and banking.

Kibble & Prentice

Ryan Gowin, sales executive in the Employee Benefits Division of the insurance and financial services company Kibble & Prentice, has been appointed president of the board of trustees of the Employee Benefits Planning Association in Seattle. The association is for professionals in the employee benefits field.

Clark Nuber

Clark Nuber elected Andrew Prather to audit shareholder. Prather joined the firm in June of 2000 and has been an audit principal for the past three years.

The Bravern

Terrance Brennan will open two new restaurants in The Shops at The Bravern. The restaurants will be Artisanal Brasserie & Wine Bar and The Artisanal Table Pizzeria Tapas Wine Bar. Both will open in September. Brennan is the chef-proprietor of Picholine, a two-Michelin star restaurant, and Artisanal Fromagerie, Bistro, and Wine Bar, both in New York City. The Bravern project is the first national expansion of Brennan's artisanal brand. Chicago-based architect Mark Knauer will design both spaces.

Elemental Importers

Elemental Importers, a new Seattle-based wine import company, recently launched its wine portfolio. The company was started in 2008 by Ashley Sytsma.

24 Seven

The Seattle office of 24 Seven hired Brien Thompson as director of creative services, marketing and fashion recruiting. Thompson is an executive recruiter with 12 years experience in the creative community and was recently the founder of Haystack Creative. 24 Seven matches creative talent with leaders in a number of industries. It has offices in New York, Los Angeles, Orange County, San Francisco, Seattle and London

True Religion

Pacific Place, a shopping center in downtown Seattle, announced True Religion Brand Jeans will open a store on the second level next to Lululemon Athletica this summer. The store will be located in a 1,576-square-foot space and will offer the jeans, sportswear and other items. This is the first True Religion location in the Northwest.

5th Avenue Theatre

The 5th Avenue Theatre hired John Longenbaugh as PR manager. Longenbaugh has been the Seattle Weekly's theatre critic and wrote a column for the newspaper for the past two years. He will continue to occasionally blog for the paper and will start a new arts blog called “Longenblog.”
