Trimmer

LifeStraw, a developer of water filtration products, appointed Troy Trimmer as national sales manager based in Seattle. Trimmer has over 10 years of experience in wholesale, retail, key account management, startups and distribution. He recently helped a cycling startup launch its brand. Washington, D.C.-based LifeStraw's technology turns microbiologically contaminated water into safe drinking water.

Skagit County EMS

Josh Pelonio is the new director of Skagit County Emergency Medical Services. Pelonio was interim director since July and before that was EMS provider liaison and training coordinator. He has been an EMS provider and administrator in the Pacific Northwest for 14 years.

National Nordic Museum

In Seattle, National Nordic Museum named Leslie Anderson as director of collections, exhibitions and programs. Anderson was curator of European, American and regional art at the Utah Museum of Fine Arts. She won the 2018 Award for Excellence from the Association of Art Museum Curators.

Clark Nuber

Bellevue accounting firm Clark Nuber promoted several staff: Allison Miller and Mike Nurse to principals; Amanda Brault, Julianna D'Angelo, Frances Olson and Joseph Purvis to senior managers; Laura Becker, Ariel Bourbonnie, Grace Chu, Brianne Lind and Joey McGahan to managers; and Kira Crowder, Deenpreet Dhaliwal, John Galus, Mariah Katzberg, Nick Kopet, Sara Lebaron, Jordynn Mannschreck, Keith Richards and Tyler Willett to senior positions.

Navex Global named Giles Newman as managing director for Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Newman is based in London and has nearly 30 years of experience with technology companies, most recently as the European managing director of CoStar Group. Navex is a risk and compliance software and services company based in Lake Oswego, Oregon.

Travis McElfresh joined global luxury travel network Virtuoso as senior vice president of technology in the Seattle office. McElfresh is responsible for product management, software engineering, IT operations, business intelligence and data services. He has over 17 years of technology experience with organizations ranging from start-ups to well-established companies, including Microsoft, MSNBC.com and Mindbloom. His last stint was senior vice president of technology at Nordstrom.

Muckleshoot Casino

In Auburn, Muckleshoot Casino named Jesse B. McDaniel Jr. as assistant general manager. McDaniel was interim general manager of Muckleshoot Bingo and prior to that was executive director of the Muckleshoot Tribal Gaming Agency. He is the first Muckleshoot tribal member to be assistant general manager of the casino.

Stokes Lawrence

Josh Harms joined the business practice of Stokes Lawrence in Seattle as an associate attorney. Harms is a recent graduate of Seattle University's School of Law, where he was editor in chief of the Seattle University Law Review. While attending law school, he was a summer associate with Mills Meyers Swartling.

Avangrid Renewables

Portland-based Avangrid Renewables is selling half its ownership in two Arizona wind and solar farms to Axium Infrastructure, an investment firm focused on core infrastructure assets with offices in Montreal, Toronto and New York City. The deal is expected to close later this year for $112 million. It includes the 65.1-megawatt Dry Lake II wind farm in Snowflake and the 20-megawatt Copper Crossing solar project in Florence.
