Design-build association opens local chapter

    Sound Transit used a design-build contract to build this parking garage in Auburn. The project was completed three months ahead of schedule.

    Nine years after its founding in 1993, the Washington, D.C.-based Design Build Institute of America opened its first Northwest chapter in July.
