Absher Construction Co. hired
Rip Phillips as project manager,
Aaron Lum as project engineer and
Matt Cooper in the estimating department. Phillips has more than 40 years of construction experience in the U.S. and throughout the world. Lum is a graduate of Oregon State University and has been working as a project engineer in Oregon and Washington for three years. Cooper has 10 years of experience in estimating, jobsite management and carpentry. Prior to coming to Absher, he was self-employed for two years as an estimator.
Joe Constance joined Express Construction as director of business development. Constance held similar positions at Rafn Co. and SDL, and was the vice president of marketing and sales with developer Intracorp. He holds a bachelor's degree in history from Nyack College, a master's degree in political and social science from the New School for Social Research and a doctorate degree from the New School for Social Research.
Robert Willis joined PSF Mechanical as a project executive and
Lawrence Palmer joined as a project engineer. Willis has worked in the HVAC industry for more than 32 years and is a LEED-accredited professional. Palmer holds a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering and is a professional engineer with more than 15 years of industry experience.
McKinstry added an electrical group to its Portland operations on Northeast Airport Way. The new group's electrical capabilities include general electrical service and repairs, tenant improvements, preventive and predictive maintenance programs, generator/UPS maintenance, building control systems and infrared scans. Mark Kenney is the service manager.

Holmes Electric Co. added
Jeff Jensen as director of business development and
Tony Buttigieg as purchasing manager. Jensen has more than 35 years of experience in consulting engineering and as an owner of a lighting and controls sales agency. Buttigieg has worked in the electrical industry for more than 30 years. He is experienced in electrical distributor sales, electrical manufacturer sales, estimating and purchasing.
