Tacoma-based Korsmo Construction hired Steve Rich as a project manager. Rich has more than 20 years of experience in construction management and preconstruction services on projects up to $90 million. At Korsmo, Rich is focusing on design-build projects as well as private development client relations. He is a certified Project Management Professional and LEED AP, and holds a master's degree in engineering management.

Lamont Jacobsen joined JayMarc Homes as chief financial officer. Jacobsen previously was CFO for one of the largest privately held builders in the region. He holds a bachelor's degree in business with an accounting emphasis from the University of Washington, and passed the CPA exam on his first sitting. Renton-based JayMarc builds luxury and custom homes in the greater Seattle area.

The Kirkland office of Mortenson hired Kristi Curry as a scheduler, Mark Stanhope as safety director, Jesse Michaletz as safety manager, and Wade Pinkerton as quality control manager for the Chambers Creek Wastewater Treatment Plant project. Curry previously worked for Jay Dee Contractors on the twin underground Sound Transit light-rail tunnels. She graduated from the University of Denver. Stanhope was safety director for eight years at Mortenson's Denver office. Michaletz is a returning Mortenson employee. He holds a bachelor's degree in environmental studies and a master's degree in environmental health and safety, both from the University of Minnesota, Duluth. Pinkerton previously worked at Western Summit Constructors and holds a bachelor's degree from Colorado State University-Pueblo.

Skanska USA promoted Alan Dunbar to vice president of preconstruction. Dunbar spent seven years at Skanska as senior preconstruction director. He has a portfolio of more than $1 billion of projects in the Puget Sound region. In his new role, Dunbar is leading preconstruction teams in the Seattle office.

Neil Shaw joined Washington Patriot Construction as a project manager. Shaw has 15 years of experience with projects in the healthcare, industrial, retail and military fields. He most recently worked for a Tacoma contractor focused on team-build projects. He holds a bachelor's degree in construction management from the University of Washington.

Auburn-based Poe Construction added Tim Mattson as a project manager. Mattson has 23 years of project management experience and holds a bachelor's degree in construction management from Central Washington University. His responsibilities at Poe are preconstruction services, estimating and project management.
