In Seattle, Lease Crutcher Lewis promoted Coriann Presser to life science market director for its Washington operations. Presser has worked her entire 15-plus-year career at Lewis, starting as an intern, then rising to project engineer, project manager and project executive. She most recently led the completion of Building Cure, a 13-story research facility for Seattle Children's Research Institute.

Aerotek joined the Associated Builders and Contractors of Western Washington. Aerotek is a staffing services subcontractor based in Hanover, Maryland, with several branches in Washington and Oregon.

Ahtna Global

Ahtna Global won a safety award from the Associated General Contractors of Alaska. The Glennallen, Alaska-based contractor won the 2020 AGC ConocoPhillips Excellence in Safety Award in the Heavy Division. The company operates along the West Coast and a few other states, including Texas and Florida. In Washington, it has a branch in Renton.

Ritchie Bros.

Vancouver, B.C.-based equipment auctioneer Ritchie Bros. Auctioneers completed its acquisition of Rouse Services, which provides data for rental analytics, equipment sales support and fleet appraisals. The deal included $250 million in cash and $25 million in Ritchie common stock. Rouse is based in Los Angeles.

Merle

Idaho-based Guerdon LLC announced that Michael Merle is returning to Boise as its vice president of business development. Merle has worked for over 30 years in construction, building products and strategic business development. Guerdon runs a modular building factory in Boise and Merle was instrumental in almost every modular hotel built by the company. During his brief hiatus from Guerdon, Merle was vice president of business development for Skender Manufacturing, a construction and manufacturing firm based in Chicago. Guerdon has been focusing on large-scale apartment buildings.

ABC of Western Washington

BrandSafway, Cabinets Northwest and Inland Steel Erectors joined the Associated Builders and Contractors of Western Washington. BrandSafway sells and rents scaffolds and provides forming and shoring solutions. Cabinets Northwest specializes in cabinets for multifamily buildings. Inland Steel Erectors provides commercial structural steel erection.
