Mike Kimberlin joined UMC's Building Performance Services Group as a building performance specialist. Kimberlin, CHFM, is performing energy audits, facility assessments, facility support, Clean Building compliance, monitoring-based commissioning and client education. He has over three decades of experience managing facilities operations and infrastructure projects for health care, administrative, laboratory and critical environments. He previously led operations, maintenance and environmental services for 34 outpatient clinics, ambulatory surgery centers and support buildings for the Everett Clinic. Prior to that, he spent nearly 20 years at Swedish Medical Center's Cherry Hill Campus managing the facilities department and environment of care compliance programs, as well as managing capital projects that supported infrastructure improvements. Mukilteo-based UMC is a mechanical engineering, facilities maintenance and construction company.
Rockwell Electric of Bellingham joined the Associated Builders and Contractors of Western Washington. The company offers a variety of electrical services, from basic residential to complex industrial, in Whatcom and Skagit counties. Tim Rockwell is the owner.

Lease Crutcher Lewis promoted JB Hall to director of operations in the data center and advanced technologies market. Hall joined the company in 2018 with a diverse background working on data centers and advanced technology, health care and multifamily projects. He started his career as a union carpenter before earning a building construction degree from the University of Washington, and serving as an army ranger at Fort Lewis. Since joining the company, Hall has played an integral role in highly complex projects, including data centers in Tukwila, Vancouver, B.C., and Hillsboro, Oregon. Lewis has offices in Seattle, Portland and Eugene, Oregon.

Burlington-based Trico Companies hired Michael Williams as senior project manager. Williams, DBIA Associate, LEED AP, has over 30 years of experience in construction, and holds a bachelor's degree in construction management from the University of Washington. Trico says he's a high-integrity leader who believes gaining trust is the most important aspect of delivering quality food and manufacturing projects for clients.

Jack Moore is Skagit County's new director of the Planning and Development Services department. Moore served as assistant director of the department since December, and has worked there for 19 years. He has spent over 25 years working in local planning and building departments, with experience in planning, building codes, floodplain management, fire prevention, natural resources and economic development.
The American Concrete Pumping Association last month elected its new executive board at its annual meeting and awards presentation in Las Vegas during the World of Concrete event. The Region 1 director is Lee Roy Thompson of Champion Concrete Pumping in Hauser, Idaho. ACPA is a nonprofit advocate for the concrete pumping industry based in Lewis Center, Ohio.
Sam's Painting of Redmond joined the Associated Builders and Contractors of Western Washington. The company provides full-scale commercial painting services.
