S.G. Taylor Construction Inc. of Seattle recently hired Nancy Kitano and Mark Ossello as project managers and Randy Brown and Michael Davidson as superintendents. Kitano has 16 years of construction experience and holds a civil engineering degree from the University of Washington. Ossello holds a construction management degree from Washington State University and has worked as a field engineer in the past. Brown has supervised construction of more than 60 health care facilities nationwide and Davidson has 29 years of construction experience, with an emphasis on interior work in occupied buildings.
Craig Riley has joined Snyder Roofing Washington's office in Lynnwood. He will target the private market for roof management packages, including analysis, planning, preventive maintenance, budgeting and reroofing. Riley has over 25 years of experience in the roofing industry.

SDL/McCarthy has promoted both Mike Bromley and Reggie Baumgarte from general foremen to superintendents. Bromley has over 22 years of construction experience and Baumgarte over 16. Bromley is working on the Alderwood Corporate Center in Portland and Baumgarte the Ronler Acres Fire Station in Hillsboro, Ore.
Glumac International has added three new employees to its Portland office: Lee Fleming, David Keys and Alan Hines. Fleming is a senior electrical project manager and will lead electrical system design for health care facilities. Keys is a CAD designer and is providing HVAC design and drafting. Hines is a CAD operator.
Lumbermen's of Washington Inc. announced Kathy Dawley has been promoted to director of training and development at the company's division headquarters in Olympia. Dawley previously served as advertising manager for the past 12 years at the company. The role of advertising manager is being filled by Cheryl Goethals. Lumbermen's is part of Redmond-based Lanoga Corp.
Snyder Roofing & Sheet Metal Inc. has been named a recipient of the 1997 Firestone Inner Circle of Quality Award. This marks the second year the company has received Firestone's award. Snyder is one of 74 firms nationally to be honored by Firestone.
