King County

Harold Taniguchi has been named manager of the Road Services Division of the King County Department of Transportation. He has served as acting manager since October. Taniguchi will oversee construction, traffic and maintenance services for over 2,200 miles of roads in unincorporated areas of King County. He holds a masters in public administration from the University of Washington.

Wilder Construction

Wilder Construction Co. recently announced two promotions. Tom Dikeman has been named branch manager for the company's Olympia office and David Dickhaus has been named manager of the Alaska Division. Dikeman has been with Wilder for two years, most recently as a project superintendent. Before that, he ran his own construction company in Eastern Washington. In his new capacity, he will supervise construction in Thurston, Mason, Lewis, Pacific and Grays Harbor counties. Dickhaus has worked for Wilder for 18 years, serving as project engineer/manager and chief estimator. He will manage the company's heavy civil work in Alaska.

WSI Contractors

Scott Isenhart of Everson has been selected as the Whatcom-Skagit-Island Contractors Association's $1,000 scholarship recipient. The association offers the scholarship to college juniors or seniors pursuing construction-related studies. Isenhart is a junior majoring in construction management at the University of Washington.
