Mike Medrzycki has joined Lugo Construction Inc. as vice president of business development and director of marketing. Lugo is based in Fife.

Scott Smith has been promoted to project manager at W.G. Clark Construction. He joined the firm in 1993 as an intern. Smith most recently served as a project engineer, assisting senior project managers on a variety of projects including long-term care facilities, medical remodels and commercial buildings. He is currently the project manager for the Highgate Cottages in Wenatchee, a 14-unit Alzheimer's facility. Smith holds a construction management degree from the University of Washington.
Mike Donohew and Paul Songe-Moller have joined Holaday-Parks. Donohew is serving as a project manager for the mechanical contractor, providing estimates and managing contracts for its plans/spec department. Songe-Moller has joined the company's engineering team. He is a graduate of Metropolitan State College of Denver.
Roel Construction has hired Maynard Zillmer as superintendent. He has 30 years of carpentry and construction supervision experience, and most recently worked as a project superintendent for Issaquah-based Roberts Properties.
Pete Dawson has joined Dawson Construction Co. of Bellingham as a project manager/estimator. He is also assisting in general company management. Dawson co-founded Anda Construction of Bellingham four years ago. He holds a degree in construction engineering technology from Montana State University.
Rick Burnstead Construction Co. has promoted Greg Strong to vice president. His new responsibilities include overseeing day-to-day operations of all residential construction and land development activities. Strong has been with the company for 12 years.
Ralph Robinson, vice president of marketing for Olympian Precast of Redmond, has been named chair of next spring's ProSpec architect/engineer trade show. The event is scheduled for March 24 at the Washington State Convention and Trade Center.
The board of directors of the Construction Industry Training Council of Washington has installed the organization's new officers for the 1997/98 school year. They include: Terry Clinton of Gene Johnson Plumbing and Heating Eastside, president; Doug Leigh of Debolte Plumbing and Heating, vice president/secretary; and Brian Ward of Horizon Heating, treasurer. Pat Ellwood of SME of Seattle is past president.
