Michael S. Weeks has been promoted to sales manager at Stoneway Concrete. Mike came to Stoneway from the W.R. Grace Co., where he was in admixture sales for 10 years. Prior to that, he was a plant manager for Morrison Ready Mix in Lakewood, Colo. He holds a bachelor of science degree from Iowa State University.
Mount Vernon-based Concrete Nor'West has sold its masonry and precast operations to Cascade Concrete Industries, a newly-formed company in Burlington. The deal included all the land and buildings at 1912 S. Burlington Blvd. in Burlington, plus all the equipment and inventory. Concrete Nor'West is continuing its operations in the ready-mix concrete and sand and gravel businesses.
Tim Feagan has been named the new president of the Structural Insulated Panel Association. Feagan is from Grand Rapids, Mich., where he serves as president and CEO of Team Industries, a producer of structural insulated panels and expanded polystyrene.

Brian Martens has been promoted from superintendent to project manager for Burnstead Construction Co.'s multi-family division. Martens is overseeing construction of several communities, including Timarron at Issaquah Highlands on the Sammamish Plateau and Ashburn, a new multi-family neighborhood in Renton. Burnstead also announced Terry Howe is the new on-site superintendent at Ashburn, and Nega Weyesa has been hired as an architectural drafter. Weyesa was raised in Ethiopia, where he earned a building engineering degree from Addisadaba University.
