Lease Crutcher Lewis

Seattle's Lease Crutcher Lewis has promoted a project manager and hired two others. Dave Petersen was promoted to senior project manager in the firm's Tacoma office. He has been in construction for 16 years and at Lewis since 1993. He holds a bachelor's degree in construction management from Washington State University. The new project managers, Paula Sword and Rick Workman, are working in the firm's Special Projects Division. Sword worked for Lewis from 1999 to 2002, and at Turner Construction after that. She holds a certificate in construction management from the University of Washington and an associate's degree from Shoreline Community College. Workman is a 16-year construction veteran, previously working for Fulks Inc. and Turner Construction. He holds bachelor's degrees in construction management and architecture and urban planning from the University of Washington.

S.D. Deacon Corp. of Washington

Mike Barrett and Karen Farmer have joined S.D. Deacon Corp. of Washington. Barrett is a project manager with 12 years of industry experience, most recently with GLY Construction. He holds a bachelor's degree in construction engineering management from Oregon State University. Farmer is a receptionist and is assisting the firm's office manager. She attended Pierce Community College.

W.G. Clark Construction

Evan Christenson and Molly Mahan have been promoted to project managers at W.G. Clark, and Colt Fry has been added as a project engineer. Christenson has been with the firm since 1998 and Mahan joined in 1999. Both were hired as interns while attending the University of Washington and moved up to project engineers before their recent promotions. Fry is a recent graduate of the University of Washington, where he earned a bachelor's degree in civil and environmental engineering.

Sellen Construction

Sellen Construction of Seattle has added several engineers and promoted a few others. The new engineers include Kyle Brown, Ally Worrell, Brenda Vonderahe, Stephen Schoenfelder, Yancy Wright, Brad Walsh and Charlie Henry. Adam Lorenz, an estimator specializing in corporate tenant improvements, was also added. Promotions include Beverly Blair to human resources and administration manager, and Brad Hayes and Todd Lee to senior project managers. Hayes and Lee have been with the company for 15 years, and are also stockholders and vice presidents.@bb

Jim Pirie recently joined Schuchart Corp. as division manager of Service Assured, the company's service department. Pirie has nearly 15 years of experience with commercial and residential construction in the Puget Sound area. He holds a bachelor's degree in construction management from the University of Washington, where he minored in architecture
