Sandra Rogers and Tad Groves have joined Ferguson Construction as project engineers. Seattle-based Ferguson has been a general contractor for 56 years.

CFMA

Three members of the Puget Sound chapter of the Construction Financial Management Association passed the inaugural certified construction financial professional (CCFP) exam earlier this year. They include David Gonzalez of Safeco Surety, Robin Hewlett of Moss Adams and Dax Woolston of Lakeside Industries. There were 181 candidates from 38 states that took the 4.5-hour exam. Topics included accounting, income recognition, budgeting, risk management, taxes, human resources, legal issues, information technology and joint ventures.
