Paul Davis Restoration

Melinda Martonik joined the Paul Davis Restoration offices in east and west King County as marketing director. Martonik is responsible for promoting the company's emergency mitigation and restoration services with insurance agents, adjusters and property owners. She has more than 12 years of experience as a sales manager and customer service representative.

O'Neill/Walsh Community Builders

O'Neill Electric and Walsh Construction Co. formed the partnership O'Neill/Walsh Community Builders LLC. The Portland-based venture is an extension of a 10-year relationship between the two companies. O'Neill President Maurice Rahming and Walsh President Bob Walsh will co-manage the partnership. O'Neill is based in Portland and Walsh has offices in Seattle and Portland.

Canyon Creek Cabinet Co.

Jarvis

Monroe-based Canyon Creek Cabinet Co. promoted Bryan Jarvis to vice president of operations. Jarvis joined the company in 2007 as director of manufacturing. In 2009, he was promoted to director of operations, taking on responsibility of the company's shipping, maintenance and engineering departments.

Sound Transit

The U.S. Department of Transportation honored Sound Transit for using small and disadvantaged businesses in its construction projects. Sound Transit also conducted networking sessions for prime and subcontractors to meet and build relationships, and hosted subcontractor and supplier forums. The award was presented to Sound Transit diversity programs director Leslie Jones.

Parr Lumber

Rumple

Parr Lumber named Ron Rumple inside sales support for its Everett store. Rumple has worked in the building materials industry for 35 years, including nearly 20 years as operations manager. Parr is based in Hillsboro, Ore., with 40 facilities in Oregon, Washington, California, Arizona and Utah.

PCL Construction Services

PCL Construction Services received the first-ever Above and Beyond Award from Sound Transit for using small and disadvantaged businesses during construction of the Link light-rail segment and station in Tukwila. Out of a $280 million contract with Sound Transit, PCL had a 24.9 percent small business participation rate. The goal was 20 percent.

Omega Morgan

Omega Morgan achieved the platinum designation from Intel Corp.'s Contractor Safety Assessment Program for its score of 95 percent or higher. ConstructSecure, which administers the evaluation, said Omega Morgan demonstrated outstanding safety performance. Omega is headquartered in Hillsboro, Ore., and has an office in Fife. It specializes in moving large equipment.
