In Seattle, Lease Crutcher Lewis hired five and promoted Chad Smith to project manager and Laura O'Neill to marketing coordinator. Smith is focusing on Boeing projects and joined Lewis in 2012. He earned a bachelor's degree in 2004 and has been in construction since 2005. O'Neill joined the company in 2008 as an operations assistant. She holds a bachelor's degree in journalism from the University of Washington. The new hires are Jordan Swanson, Joe Aebischer and Jeramiah Crabb as project engineers; Leonard Buck as BIM coordinator; and Roxanne Harrison as operations assistant. Swanson, LEED AP BD&C, has been in construction since 2006. He holds a bachelor's degree in construction management from the UW. Aebischer, LEED AP BD&C and Engineer in Training, has been in construction since 2007. He holds a bachelor's degree in civil engineering from the University of Colorado. Crabb has been in construction since 2005 and holds a construction management certificate from the UW. Buck has been in construction since 1988, including 13 years in field supervision. He recently earned a bachelor's degree in applied design from Lake Washington Institute of Technology. Harrison previously worked at insurance and construction companies. She holds an associate's degree from Edmonds Community College.

Cascade Engine Center

Seattle-based Cascade Engine Center promoted Greg Light to vice president of sales and marketing, Aaron Ison to vice president of engineering, Don Stark to vice president of operations, and Tim Sandeman to general sales manager. Cascade says it is re-concentrating sales, engineering and support to transition from an OEM diesel engine distributor to a diesel engine integration and engineering company. Cascade distributes John Deere, Scania, Yanmar and HiPower products.

Brandon Bell joined PSF Mechanical as an HVAC service technician, Danita Hill as an accounts payable specialist and Charles White as a project design engineer. Bell has been in the HVAC industry for about five years and was a Navy helicopter mechanic. Hill has been in the construction industry for 16 years. She is pursuing a bachelor's degree in business management from National University. White recently received a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from Seattle University. PSF specializes in mechanical design-build projects in life sciences, high-tech and Class A office buildings
